Critical thinking, collaboration, and confident speaking were on full display during a recent Social Studies debate activity at ISG Dammam. ๐ค๐
Students researched and prepared speeches as they explored the debate topic: Fast Food vs. Healthy Eating. ๐ฑ
After choosing sides, each team worked together to gather facts, strengthen their arguments and prepare rebuttals before presenting their perspectives to the class.
Throughout the debate, students asked thoughtful questions, responded with evidence-based arguments, challenged ideas respectfully and encouraged one another along the way. ๐ค The activity provided a valuable opportunity for students to strengthen research, communication, public speaking and critical thinking skills in an engaging and supportive environment.
We are proud of the confidence and teamwork our students demonstrated during this exciting classroom experience! ๐โจ

History came to life in Ms. Nadia Iqbalโs classroom at ISG Dammam. ๐
To celebrate the end of their Ancient Civilizations unit, students transformed their Social Studies classroom into a living museum of history through original skits, creative performances, and thoughtful storytelling. ๐ Working in groups, students researched and portrayed civilizations including Ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, Ancient China, and the Indus Valley with impressive creativity, accuracy and confidence.
As part of the learning experience, students connected the lessons of the past to the present by presenting thoughtful conclusions and โdoable actionsโ inspired by ideas of justice, innovation, and community. Students attended the performances and shared praise for the incredible effort and insight shown by their classmates.
It was inspiring to see our young historians not simply study history, but step into it with voice and passion. Bravo! ๐
