Bake Sale
Bake Sale
This bake sale is a result of Project Based Learning in which our students have been working on a project that corresponds to the “Big Question” our students have been focusing on. Students have been discussing goals and finances. Therefore, they have set a goal to buy books for our library through a planned bake sale which they have created posters for as well as building speaking skills by informing other students to come to the sale.
We thank you for supporting our grade 3 students and their hard work!
Bake Sale for Gr.3 on Sunday, Dec 1
Our grade 3 Lower Primary Section is having a “Balanced Bake Sale”. Healthy foods will be sold as well as a small treat. The sale will be held during all breaks in the basement on Sunday, 1/12/13.
Library Book Drive
The Lower Primary Section Library has set a goal to make sure all of our students enjoy reading. During the next week, we are having a book drive. Every Lower Primary Section student should bring a book of his or her choice to donate to the school library. This can be a new or gently used book.
A plaque will be placed in the book with your child’s name and also the reason he/she likes the book they have donated. This way, your child’s opinion for the book can be shared with his/her classmates and FIS students for many year to come!
