📢 ANNOUNCEMENT
SUSPENSION OF CLASSES

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,

Please be informed that classes at all levels are suspended on Thursday, 16 July, as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of our school community.

This decision follows two power interruptions experienced this afternoon in Buildings 2, 3, and 4. Initial assessment determined that the outage was caused by a damaged wire in the main electrical switch. The Saudi Electricity Company is scheduled to replace the damaged wire this evening.

Tomorrow, the school will conduct comprehensive testing and continuous monitoring of the electrical system by operating all air-conditioning units and lighting fixtures to verify the stability and reliability of the power supply before the resumption of regular classes.

The safety of our students, faculty, staff, and school community remains our highest priority.

We appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued cooperation.

🐉 VICTORY PARTY | Recognition of Warriors & Winners (Part 1)

What a night for the DRAGONS! On January 10, 2026, Second Philippine International School hosted a joyful Victory Party to honor our athletes who represented SPIS at the 10th Philippine International Schools Athletic Meet.

The celebration brought together our athletes, coaches, families, and supporters for an afternoon of recognition, gratitude, and fellowship. We celebrated not only those who won medals, but every Dragon who trained, competed, persevered, and gave their all.

First, the program began with Christian and Muslim prayers led by Jealeen Paula Mabutas and Rubbanie Tanael, setting a meaningful and inclusive tone for the celebration.

Next, the event formally opened with heartfelt remarks from the OIC for External Affairs, Mr. Richard M. Galicia, who reminded our athletes to always fight like warriors with integrity and heart.

Following this, coaches and team captains shared their messages, recognizing the hard work, discipline, and dedication behind every athlete’s performance.

Afterward, the OIC for Internal Affairs, Mr. Arestio B. Gremio, delivered an inspiring message acknowledging the coaches as the heart of the teams and emphasizing that beyond winning, athletes gain values and sportsmanship that guide them in representing the school fairly and honorably.

Then, the awarding ceremony took place, featuring special tributes honoring past PISAM athletes for their contributions and lasting legacy.

Finally, the celebration concluded with a fun highlights and bloopers video, a shared dinner, and group picture-taking, bringing the night to a joyful and memorable close.

We would like to give a special thank you to our graduating PISAM athletes, whose dedication and leadership have left a lasting legacy as they take on their next journey, your SPISian spirit will always remain with us. 🐉❤️

A huge thank you to our coaches, team captains, event handlers, parents, and everyone who made this event possible. Most of all, congratulations to our DRAGONS: your courage, teamwork, and sportsmanship made us proud. Keep flying high! 🐲🏅

🐉 Peer Counselors Club | Counseling Talk

In a world full of stories waiting to be heard, we are called not just to speak but to listen deeply, embrace kindly, and support wholeheartedly. On January 16, 2026, the Peer Facilitator Club successfully held its first Counseling Workshop, facilitated by Mr. Jose Anthony F. Espejo, featuring the session “Counseling Talk: An Overview.”

The workshop introduced members to the core values of counseling including listening with intention, responding with empathy, providing emotional support, and uplifting others. Through reflective discussion and real‑world insight, participants gained a deeper understanding of how meaningful connection can enhance well-being and strengthen emotional resilience.

The session marked a promising beginning for the Peer Facilitator Club, one rooted in empathy, service, and an unwavering commitment to supporting others. Indeed, counseling is more than guidance; it is a bridge to healing, hope, and stronger human connections.
