ئْتَدِمُوا بِالزَّيْتِ وَادَّهِنُوا بِهِ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْ شَجَرَةٍ مُبَارَكَةٍ

زیتون کا تیل سالن کے طور پر استعمال کرو اور اسے (سر اور بدن میں) لگاؤ۔ یہ مبارک درخت سے حاصل ہوتا ہے۔

Season (your food) with olive oil and anoint yourselves with it, for it comes from a blessed tree.

Excellent Oppurtunity for New Muslims (reverts) to learn Quran

The scholarship program at "Madinah Quran Academy (MQA)" for New Muslims (reverts) to learn Quran recitation has opened up. This is a beautiful opportunity to learn Quran recitation (makharij, tajweed, etc) via internet from qualified Quran Tutors. Both brothers & sisters can apply. Candidates selected under scholarship program will be provided with 6 months of free classes.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD SallahuAlaihi Wasallam said:
Such a person as recites the Qur'an and masters it by heart, will be with the noble righteous scribes (in Heaven). And such a person exerts himself to learn the Qur'an by heart, and recites it with great difficulty, will have a double reward.

(SAHIH BUKHARI Vol 6, Hadith 4987)

‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Amr narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“It will be said to the companion of the Qur’aan: Recite and rise in status, recite as you used to recite in the world, for your status will be at the last verse that you recite.”

Al-Tirmidhi (2914) and Abu Dawood (1464). This hadeeth was classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 5/218, no. 2240
