You probably feel hurt and sad…
You’re probably even feeling attacked about your parenting.
Thoughts flood you, “where did I go wrong with my parenting?”
On lookers make you feel worse. Questioning eyes… you want to hide.
But here’s a hard truth…
Your teenager isn’t being mean. They haven’t lost their manners. They don’t hate you. They haven’t forgotten your lessons…
They are probably overwhelmed and want someone to talk to.
Saying “I need to talk” is very hard. Those words just don’t roll on the tongue as easily…
They need to be practiced.
They don’t have the practice of saying it. Yet.
How about you ask them instead.
“I’m here if you need to talk.” Just that.
Try it. It does wonders.
Takes a few tries. From both sides. But then the outbursts are fewer and fewer and “I need to talk.” “Are you free?” “Wanna go out for a walk?” “I’ll treat you!” becomes the norm.
InshaAllah.

What are you preparing your children for?
During the Crusades, Asad ad-Din Shirkuh led two campaigns to Egypt.
His nephew was living the easy life, in his own bubble. So Asad ad-Din insisted he join the dangerous mission.
But isn’t an easy life a blessing from Allah? Yes. We always seek ease from Allah and we are grateful for it.
But putting young Muslims in positions where they must serve selflessly and tirelessly prepares them to be future leaders of the ummah.
Shirkuh understood this. And his nephew’s story proves it.
Who was this nephew? What was the mission he joined? Watch Episode 5 of as we reach a turning point in the story: https://yqn.io/16zz

There are two types of moms:
Moms who wake up and react.
The day happens TO them.
Bedtime is a battle.
Screen time is a fight.
They're exhausted, resentful, and wondering why motherhood feels so hard.
Let's call them the Poor Mindset Moms.
Then there are the Rich Mindset Moms who wake up with a plan.
They're not just raising kids - they're raising their future - their "business" partners.
Their future team.
The people who will make dua for them when they're gone.
They see the next 20 years clearly.
They know that the 3-year-old who fights bedtime today is the 25-year-old who will either have discipline or chaos in their life.
So they don't just 'get through' bedtime.
They BUILD a routine that teaches their child self-regulation, consistency, and trust.
Poor Mindset Mom says: 'Just go to sleep already!'
Rich Mindset Mom says: 'This is how we're training you to manage your own life one day.'
Vision needs structure.
That's why I built the Complete Toddler Routines Collection.
When we parent our children today, think 20 years ahead.. what impact will your parenting have on them then?
Your child is just 3, 4, 5 or 6 but the independence and capability you train them now, you will see results in how they carry themselves.
Yes, routines will make your day easier too.
Routines are a TOOL that Rich Mindset Moms use to build future leaders.
Here's one more thing to think about: Who are YOU becoming?
In 20 years, who are you going to grow up to be along side your children?
The mom with a Rich Mom Mindset or Poor?

Are you dreaming big? Or playing small?
Are you building something? Or just maintaining?
Are you growing? Or stuck?
They're learning from YOUR example.
If you're not pursuing your goals, why would they pursue theirs?
If you're not disciplined with your time, why would they be?
If you're not becoming someone, how can you teach them to become someone?
Poor Mindset Moms think: 'I'll focus on me when the kids are older.'
Rich Mindset Moms know: 'My growth IS part of raising them.'
You can't pour from an empty cup.
But more importantly: You can't inspire what you're not becoming.
This is why I'm creating something new for January.
Because the best thing you can give your kids? A mother with a VISION for her own life.
Stay tuned. 🎯"

Every parent I meet is in one of two camps 👇
🛑 “No screens at all!” – but deep down, you know it’s not realistic.
📱 “Screens are everywhere now…” – and suddenly, you feel like you’ve lost control.
Different choices.
Same fear.
👉 “What if screens ruin my child?”
Here’s the truth:
Screens aren’t the enemy.
Lack of guidance is.
There is a calm, intentional way to raise children who use technology responsibly – without bans, battles, or burnout.
