The IGNOU 39th Convocation was successfully held at the Consulate General of India, Jeddah on 28th April 2026

The ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, H.E. Mr. Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri, Consul General of India, Jeddah, who congratulated the graduates and presented degree certificates, along with awards and recognitions to outstanding achievers.

The event was also attended by Guest of Honour, Dr. Mohammed Imran (Principal, IISJ).

HE Yousef bin Abdullah Al- Benyan, Minister of Education, Royal Kingdom of Saudi Arabia met with the Heads of Indian Universities and Institutes such as the Indira Gandhi National Open University, Delhi University, IITs, IIMs, Jamia Millia Islamia, Jamia Hamdard, the National Archives, Aligarh Muslim University, Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), and private universities such as the Amity and Sharda University.
