But Allah already told us the condition:

“I respond to one’s prayer when they call upon Me. So let them respond ˹with obedience˺ to Me and believe in Me.” (Quran 2:186)

A real relationship with Allah doesn't switch on during hardship and off during ease. It is constant — built in the ordinary days, the comfortable seasons, the moments when you don't particularly need anything and yet you turn to Him anyway.

Ask yourself honestly today: how much am I actually giving — versus how much am I expecting?
