Early Childhood Development Shyira Diocese

Proverb 22:6 says:"Train up a child in the way he should go;even when he is old he will not depart from it."

The Anglican church of Rwanda, Shyira Diocese is committed to support children showing them unconditional love,care and telling them the truth and helping them to know Jesus as a Role model who cared for all children and blessed them. Nowadays, children who are learning in the different ECD centers are growing healthy because they have access to the animal proteins that they get from eggs that they eat at least 3 times a week. At the ECD Center, the caregivers train and teach all chhildren to wash their hands especially in the critical times before eating and after the toilet in order to prevent them the diseases from poor hygiene. The EAR Shyira Diocese is thankful to God to see children attending the ECD Center willingly without being forced by their parents and the parents have enough time to do their works and increase their productivity because their children have people who cared for them and create a good environment where they learn joyfully.

Today on Friday 16/09/2022 Marked the Final day of a 2 Days Training on Childhood Protection, Safe Guarding and Development E.C.D Teachers from Gitare, Nyamutera, Mukamira and Cathedral Archdeaconries.The Diocesan E.C.D Coordinator Mr Ndengejeho Evariste who shared the Word of God from Mark 10:13-16, As Jesus knew the Power of having a Child with him and he knew what they wanted from him, We need to foresee the skills, power in these young children, we have to utilize the time we have with them, they are of great value investing in them is far more wealthier than investing money.The Training was entitled to help the E.C.D Teachers know the Value of the Child referring to the Bible and help the with the Teaching Methodologies.The Teachers were grateful for the training, teaching tools they were given to help them bring up children grow up in wisdom and stature.

Today on Thursday 15/09/2022 The Executive Secretary of the Diocese of Shyira, Rev Kubwayo M Charles Officially opened a 2 Days Training for Early Childhood Development (E.C.D Teachers) from Murambo, Gasebeya,Moma and Rugendabare Archdeaconries.
The Executive Secretary shared his message from the Diocesan Theme of the Year Psalms 100:2 "Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs"
As Care-Takers and teachers of Children we need the Joy and Gladness from the Lord, Spending time with the Children you need the Joy from within the Heart.
The Training was entitled to help the E.C.D Teachers know the Value of the Child referring to the Bible and help the with the Teaching Methodologies.The Teachers were grateful for the training, teaching tools they were given to help them bring up children grow up in wisdom and stature.
