North Gate University is the latest addition to universities in East Africa. Its creation was approved by a legislative act in Rwandan parliament in 2011.

As a model institution in EastAfrica we are embarking on creating a harmonised and accomodating curriculum for East Africa that will provide equal opportunity for all post secondary students from all over east africa.
