Our CEO, Claire Uwineza, recently attended the Skoll World Forum, an annual gathering of social entrepreneurs, global innovators, philanthropists, and investors tackling the world's most pressing challenges.

During the forum, she connected with inspiring leaders including Marla Blow, CEO of The Skoll Foundation, and members of our incredible community of past and current funders and partners.

We are grateful for the partnerships that fuel bold ideas and lasting impact.

This , we stand with Rwanda in remembering the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi; a time to recognize the resilience that continues to carry communities forward, and the quiet strength it takes to rebuild, to come together, and to keep choosing humanity. Together, let’s commit to building a future where unity and compassion guide every step.

We were honored to have our CEO, Claire Uwineza, join the BPN Rwanda Women’s Month Gathering 2026 alongside women leaders and entrepreneurs for an open conversation on collaboration, sustainable growth, and what it truly means to support one another.

Reflecting on her journey, Claire encouraged the room to stay curious, dare to take on more than what feels comfortable, and know when to ask for help.

She also reminded us that giving is never just a transaction. As leaders, the most powerful thing we can give is trust. Trust that creates ownership, unlocks creativity, and sees people not just for who they are today, but for who they have the potential to become.

This is what we are cheering for. Every. Single. Day.

🫰Women who walk in uncertain and leave unstoppable.
🫰Communities that choose to lift instead of leave behind.
🫰Stories that remind us why our work matters.

This , we are celebrating not just who the women in our programs are, but who they are becoming.

Every woman has a story but not every woman has been told that her story is worth telling.

At Resonate, we believe is one of the most powerful tools for change. When women and girls own their stories, they don’t just transform themselves. They transform the people around them.
That belief is what gets us out of bed every morning. What gets you up?

Here’s to a new week of bold voices and owning our stories.

“I used to be shy, but now I have become confident, and I must say no confidently to anyone who intends to lead me into bad habits.” — Joselyne, 15, Speak for Change participant

Through self-awareness sessions, peer discussions, and honest conversations, young women are building the confidence to advocate for themselves and others, and resist social and peer pressures that can lead to unintended pregnancies.

“The workshop changed my mindset. I learned to set goals and to save money so that I can achieve them.” — Fortune, workshop participant.

Fortune had no income and no vision for her future when she joined our Gerakure “Venture Beyond!” Project in partnership with the National Women’s Council funded by Project Redwood .

Today she runs a poultry business and sells fruits and vegetables at a local market where she earns up to 50,000 Rwf (~$34) a month.

This is what investing in women looks like. When you give them the tools, they gain the power to transform their own lives, and the community gains leaders.

"Leadership is not about having the most confidence in the room — it's about having the courage to step forward even when you're not sure. And the world needs more women to say 'I will try this even when I'm scared, even when I'm not sure of the outcome.'" — Claire Uwineza

We were honored to have our CEO join the Oryx Energies Rwanda Women’s Day celebration as guest speaker to inspire women in the room.

Happy Women's Month to every woman choosing courage this March.

Behind every woman who finds her voice is a team that shows up for her, and today, we celebrate ours.💜

This Women's Day, we're honoring the incredible women on our team who give their time, energy, and passion so that every woman in our programs can gain her voice, confidence, and power.
Happy International Women's Day from all of us at Resonate!

This , we are asking a bigger question: What does it truly mean to give?

When you invest in a woman, in her skills, her voice, her confidence... the returns go far beyond her alone.

✔️ Her family gains stability and resilience
✔️ Her community gains a woman who uplifts and inspires
✔️ Her country gains an empowered woman driving change

At Resonate, we create spaces where women and girls don't just learn, they find their voice, shape their stories, and lead the change they want to see in their lives and communities.

That's what looks like in practice.
