Throwback to when a Business Management and Entrepreneurship student Amina Niyigena won the 4th award of 10 millions rwf for her project named "Bookly Africa" in Youth Connekt
While a team representing Davis College with a project named "The Green Fertilizers" won the 1st place award of 5 millions rwf, in the TVET youth challenge 2023
This happened in May 2023, and we remember the joy it brought to our institution like it was yesterday!
We take pride in cheering our graduates for what they achieved as students, and what they achieve as graduates! 👏🏾👏🏾

In late April 2024, Ardent Mentoring kicked off the mentorship program for Akilah and Davis College alumni.
Graduates who aspire to become entrepreneurs, and have businesses they are working on, were taken through a discovery session and were assigned mentors.
"The mentorship experience is amazing, Our mentor has supported us in designing the business prototype, and taught us how to establish partnerships with other foundations/entrepreneurs. We are also harnessing our pitching skills." ~SaveUp for Success Foundation, one of the businesses that signed up for the mentorship.
While Akilah and Davis College goes through reinvention to better serve young leaders in East Africa, we are dedicated to supporting our alumni through a variety of programs including mentorships like this.
Stay tuned for more updates about Ardent Mentorship, the businesses our graduates are working on, and the other programs we are planning to offer!

"Davis College played a crucial role in shaping my journey towards becoming a successful Business Management and Entrepreneurship graduate. It offered a truly innovative educational experience, moving away from traditional methods of learning towards a more personalized approach that catered to individual student needs.
After graduating from Davis College, I embarked on a rewarding career as a merchant acquiring officer at the Bank of Kigali. In this role, I am responsible for managing relationships with merchants and facilitating electronic payment services. My education at Davis College equipped me with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in this dynamic and customer-oriented field.
Overall, Davis College's holistic and innovative approach to education significantly contributed to my personal and professional growth. The foundation laid during my time at Davis College continues to serve me well as I navigate the challenges and opportunities in my career at the Bank of Kigali. I am grateful for the education and experiences that have prepared me for success in the business world." .~ .Benigne Isabane__ 2021- 2022 Guild President
