Kigali independent university (ulk) is an accredited and leading private university founded in 1996. a. equivalent to USD 660 per year.

3: ULK runs four schools that award bachelor's degrees. the school of economics and business studies with the following departments.

* economics, accounting, finance, management, rural development.

4: the school of law with the department of law

* both public law and private law

5: the school of social sciences with the following department. sociology, International Relations, development studies, administrative sciences, population studies,

6: the school of sciences with the technology with computer science.

7: ULK POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE PROGRAM (UPI) (currently running ULK campus)

4 ULK polytechnic institutes run two departments with their corresponding options. Department of electrical, electronics (A1)

* electrical technology
* electronic and telecommunications. Department of civil engineering (A1)

* construction technology
* land surveying engineering (topography)

Ulk OFFERING BOTH DAY AND EVENING SECTION PROGRAM

* day section courses start from 8:00 am up to 2:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

* evening section teaching starts from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm from (Monday to Friday)

* weekend teething starts from Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm

11 admission requirements

To be registered at ULk, students must comply with the following conditions (extracted from ULK Regulations)

_ a level secondary school certificate with at least two principal passes or equivalence. To be registered for any degree course or advanced diploma course. The prospective students must hand in
1: a certified sample of the required certificate
2: a duly filled in registration form.
3: a copy of the identity card or passport
4: a proof of payment of registration fees,
5: a copy of equivalence for international students. REGISTRATION FEES AND TUITION FEES.

* registration fees Amount to 35,000 rwf equivalent to 35 dollars

* administration and tuition fees are the same for both national and international students. The tuition fees for undergraduate students are fixed as follows. School of economics and business studies

2. Engineering survey topology for only Duration 3 years fees, 69,000 Rwf equivalent to 690 dollars

1: master of business and administration (MBA) for duration 2 years 1,600,000 rwf equivalent to 1600 dollars.
2; master of finance (MFIN) for duration 2 years 1,600,000 rwf equivalent to 1600 dollars.

3: master of accounting (MACC) for duration 2 years 1,600,000 rwf equivalent to 1600 dollars.

4: master of science in economic (Msc) for duration 2 years 1,600,000 rwf equivalent to 1600 dollars.

5; master of governance (MGOV) for duration 2 years 1,600,000 rwf equivalent to 1600 dollars.

6. Master of development studies (MDS) for duration 2 years 1,600,000 rwf equivalent to 1600 dollars.

7. Master of law in public international law (LLM/PIL) for duration 2 years 1,600,000 rwf equivalent to 1600 dollars.

8: master of international economics and business law (LLM/IEL) for duration 2 years 1,600,000 rwf equivalent to 1600 dollars
9: master of science in interest system (MS) for duration 2 years 1,600,000 rwf equivalent to 1600 dollars.
