Peoples’ friendship at the International Forum of Ministers of Education “Shaping the Future” 🌐

🔀 RUDN University is represented at the forum in Kazan as the coordinator of the BRICS Network University.

🤝🏻 Delegations from Abkhazia, Belarus, Benin, Brazil, Zimbabwe, Jordan, Yemen, DR Congo, Cuba, Turkmenistan, Turkey, the Central African Republic and Sri Lanka came up to the BRICS NU stand.

ℹ️ Among major questions is how to join the BRICS Network University and interact with BRICS NU universities if the delegation does not represent a BRICS country.

📍 For some delegations, it came as a surprise that the BRICS NU is not one university, but a consortium of universities.

👥 Education ministers from more than 40 countries are participating in the forum. The stand of the BRICS Network University was visited by Konstantin Mogilevsky, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia, Ksenia Trinchenko, Director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science and representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo.

🇷🇺🇹🇷 Research of the Eurasian space, study of international law, learning the Russian language... RUDN receives a delegation from Ibn Haldun University

➡️ RUDN University received a delegation from Ibn Haldun University (Turkey), the parties holding negotiations on expanding scientific and academic cooperation in the humanitarian areas.

🔹 January 10, the delegation of Ibn Haldun University met with the administration of RUDN University. The focus was on expanding interaction in research projects and academic mobility programs.

💬 “We are a young but rapidly developing university in Turkey. Our main focus is research in the humanities and social sciences. We are developing international cooperation, so the experience and support of such an ambitious university as RUDN University is important to us. We plan to implement concrete projects. In particular, this summer we expect academic exchange programs between our universities,” Professor Bilal Erdogan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ibn Haldun University.

Africa's path to SDGs 17: an integrated approach 🌍🔗

🗓 On November 21-24 RUDN University will host the II International Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists “For the Sustainable Development of Civilization: Cooperation, Science, Education, Technology”.

➡ The structure of the conference consists of 3 tracks: biosphere; society; economics, politics, law, partnerships. We will make the path from the global to the particular. The conditions for the existence and survival of society depend on the biosphere. Society itself does not exist without key areas: economics, politics and law.

👥 More than 1500 participants from Morocco, Jordan, Zambia, Indonesia, Tunisia, Algeria, South Africa, Egypt, Brazil, Uganda, Madagascar and other countries will discuss the priority issues of our time, problems and challenges, possible trends and directions for the development of Africa.

📍🌍 The II Russia-Africa summit began work in St. Petersburg. Delegations arrived from Zambia, Uganda, Senegal, Central African Republic, Nigeria, Egypt, Congo, Algeria and other countries.

🔵 RUDN University is the university with the biggest number of international students in the country. Over 14,000 professionals for 54 African countries have been trained here. Today, over 2,000 African students study at the university. RUDN University is a member of the forum. Our students — Thomas, Chimuka and Khava will talk about the university, and present educational and research projects.

Read the instructions on how and when to do it 💯🌏

📊 RUDN University admits foreign citizens to study on the basis of a portfolio competition for bachelor, specialist and master programs (except for “General Medicine”, “Nursing”, “Dentistry”, “Pharmacy” and “Biology”).

✍🏻 Entrance tests for admission to the 1st year of the Institute of Medicine:
✏ Chemistry and biology - online testing (depending on the chosen specialty). Testing in chemistry can be taken in both Russian and English, testing in biology is only in Russian.

ℹ For "General Medicine", "Dentistry" and "Pharmacy" it is necessary to take a test in chemistry (in Russian or in English). For "Nursing" and "Biology" - testing in biology (only in Russian).

✏ Russian language - interview (if you are planning to study in an English-speaking group, you have an interview in English).

ℹ At RUDN Institute of Medicine, training in "General Medicine" and "Dentistry" is conducted in Russian or English. The language of instruction in "Pharmacy", "Nursing" and "Biology" is only Russian.

📇 Applying on a fee-paying basis
🔷 Bachelor, specialist and master programs:
▫ until September 29 — for full-time and mixed modes;
▫ until November 26 - for distance learning mode.

🔷 Postgraduate studies: until November 24 - full-time mode.
🔷 Residency: until August 25.
🔷 Preparatory Faculty (Institute of the Russian Language): throughout the academic year.

🗃 Documents required to apply for the 1st year of bachelor/ specialist / master/ postgraduate programs:
▪ Educational documents;
▪ Passport \ ID;
▪ Consent to processing personal data;
▪ Medical report;
▪ Other documents (copies of other documents - for example, confirmation of victory in international Olympiads or professional competitions);
▪ Photo.

Portfolio evaluation criteria:
▫ average score based on learning outcomes at the previous level; education, including learning outcomes in core subjects;
▫ achievements in educational and social spheres: certificates and diplomas;
▫ certificates of foreign language proficiency;
▫ participation in competitions/Olympiads for foreign citizens (winner/prize-winner);
▫ recommendations (or other similar documents) from RUDN faculties, institutes and academy, public organizations and associations, Russian foreign missions, foreign diplomatic missions and others;
▫ position in the world rankings of the applicant’s university (for master programs);
▫ motivation letter (for master programs);
▫ volunteering activity (for master programs).
