One of the main cultural events in Moscow this fall is the exhibition “Other Shores. Russian art in New York. 1924” at .

The project is dedicated to a grandiose exhibition of the beginning of the last century: painting, graphics, sculpture, porcelain were presented in the halls of the Grand Central Palace in Manhattan in 1924.
The exhibition was organized by the artists themselves, among its organizers were Igor Grabar, Konstantin Somov and Sergey Vinogradov.

Almost a century after the opening of the exhibition in New York, museum workers have restored the list of exhibits and found them all over the world! This is definitely a huge job. Now we can appreciate the scale of the plan of the organizers of the exhibition and admire the works of art!👏🏻

📍The Church of the Sign of the Most Holy Mother of God in Dubrovitsy is a real masterpiece of architecture.
⠀
The church was built in 1704 of white stone on the high bank of the cape formed by the confluence of the Desna and Pakhra rivers. It is a stunningly beautiful place and the church makes an incredible impression in the landscape.

The church is extremely atypical for the Orthodox style. The building is richly decorated with high relief compositions and carved baroque details. Definitely it’s the must visit place for all architecture lovers!😍
