● THE BUST OF LUCIAN BLAGA, Estoril
The monument in the little park in front of the Palacio Estoril Hotel evokes the presence of Lucian Blaga in Portugal; he was the ambassador of Romania between 1938 and 1939. The one who wanted the placement of a statue with Blaga was Vasile Popovici from Timișoara, the ambassador of Romania in Lisbon between 2006-2011 .
● CONDOMINIO REI CAROL, Estoril
Carol II, King of Romania from 8th of June 1930 until 6th of September 1940, when he was forced to abdicate. Carol II remained in exile for the rest of his life, despite his efforts from the USA and Mexico with the Free Romania movement. He died in Estoril, Portugal, in 1953.
● THE HOUSE OF MIRCEA EILIADE, Cascais - He lived in Portugal between 1940-1945. As a cultural attaché, he launched the idea of
creating a Romanian language lectureship in Lisbon. Among the important works that the great thinker and writer conceived on the Lusitanian lands is counted Salazar si revolutia in Portugalia, published for the first time in Romania in 1942
