Buna tuturor!! we are in our last day in Romania. We would like to say you thank you for this amazing year! We are happy to have lived all this time in Romania. It was great to learn about your beautiful nature and your culture. Multumesc tuturor!! Goforgreen.

A început de ceva vreme
să ningă tot mai alb şi mai des…
Să ningă cu dor şi cu lacrimi
Dar, nu din cer…
Ninge lin,
De pe pământul prea plin
De păcate şi chin
Cu suflete calde
Şi albe
Ce se-nalţă spre
Soare
În haine de sărbătoare,
În cercuri largi,
Tot mai largi,
Lăsând în urmă
Prieteni dragi.

Last week on Friday, Go For Green was cleaning Capela Hill. It was an event organized by some organizations of the region. We were happy to participate in this activity but It is really sad that different organizations and sometimes the government have to organize this kind of activity to keep the nature without garbage. A long this year we wanted to teach to the community that the nature is before us. Without nature we can’t exist. We must take care of the forests, animals, rivers, lakes, etc. We must keep the nature without garbage, PLEASE DON’T THROW GARBAGE TO THE NATURE!! NATURA NU E UN COS DE GUNOI!
We want to share some photos with you about that day and also, we want to put the photos which were taken by Asociatia Zâmbete Colorate at the end of August. (https://www.facebook.com/asociata.zambetecolorate?fref=ts).

At the beginning of August Greenpeace Romania initiated a camp whose name was Forest Rescue Station. Volunteers from Romania, Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Hungary, Croatia, Finland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Switzerland were based in a station near Vidraru Lake, in the Argeș river basin, an area threatened by illegal logging and forest destruction. Greenpeace fears large amounts of these forests have been lost in the last decade. The volunteers mapped one of the last remaining ancient and old growth forests in Europe in order to highlight the need for the Romanian government to legally protect the forest. During three weeks Greenpeace was mapping the area and trying to make conscience of this problem. They also realized that there is other problem in the Romanian forests, and that problem is the trash so they decided to make a media campaign about that in the thirst week of the camp.
Three of us had the luck to join them during the last week of the camp. It was an unforgettable experience.

Also, two of us participated in a video to make conscience about the problem with the garbage in the nature (we will share the video in the next post). THANK YOU SO MUCH Greenpeace Romania for this opportunity!

It was the last day in the library. We did an activity about "climate refugees" to create conscience about the people who lose their house because of the climate change. We have to think globally!
