Scripor Alphabet. The Universal Tactile Language for Colours

Share

The world’s first universal tactile language for colours, empowering people to experience, identify and communicate colour through touch.

Advancing accessibility through education, innovation and inclusive design. The Scripor alphabet allows the blind and visually impaired to read, write, identify, recognize, and differentiate colors. The word – “color” – regardless of language, dialect, culture, or geographical area – has been reduced to a single, simple, and universal symbol. The colors are represented by a combination of dots positioned in a cell, similar to the Braille alphabet.

📣 🚀 On 24–25 March 2026, something important happened in Cluj-Napoca!

The Touch 'n Match project held its official Kick-Off Meeting — a milestone that marks the beginning of a journey we have been working towards for a long time. Partners from Romania, Austria, and Poland sat together around the same table, aligned on the same vision: making fashion truly accessible.

At the heart of it all is the Scripor Alphabet. Tactile Colors for the Blind — now stepping beyond its original form and into a new chapter, embedded in an interactive mobile app that will allow blind and visually impaired users to independently navigate colours, textures, and outfit combinations through multisensory feedback.

This Kick-Off was not just a meeting. It was the moment a shared idea became a shared commitment.

More to come — co-creation workshops, fashion mentoring with industry professionals, and a public fashion show at Transilvania Fashion Festival 2026! 💛🖤
