🧘‍♂️💫 What is Yoga?

❌ Not just body bending and "huffing and puffing" some breathing exercises once or twice a day, on a fancy mat wearing stylish clothes. This is not Yoga at all!

✅ Authentic Yoga is a way of life, a spiritual science of conscious evolution. It’s constant purification, expansion, and harmonious integration of our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions. This doesn’t happen only on the mat, but in every single moment of our life. In what and how we choose to eat. In how we interact with others. In how we treat our environment. In how we engage with our duties.

Let's not forget that. Let's live Yoga with every breath we take.

🌱 Spring comes alive with full power. Each day, a new leaf, a new flower, a new scent. Isn’t it a miracle—what wasn’t there yesterday, today is?

🌳 Nature’s unstoppable energy inspires me to create—I feel fully alive when I bring something new into existence.

🎥 The short videos I enjoy making aren’t just about physical exercises—they are journeys that guide the practitioner into a particular state of being when practiced as intended. They cultivate what I call "Versatility of Being."
"Versatility of Being" is about cultivating and expressing different qualities as life demands—being grounded and strong (🌍 earth), fluid and clear (💧 water), intense and passionate (🔥 fire), quick and spontaneous (🌬️ air), or open and expansive (✨ space). It’s about expanding our capacity to act in various ways, as life requires—rather than robotically reacting in the same rigid way. It’s about FREEDOM!

🌟 My dear teacher, Aasan Dharmaraj of God's Warrior, taught me that every action—watering plants, sweeping the floor, practicing Yoga, Meipadam, or Karalakattai—must be an expression of unity and harmony. Mind, breath, and body moving as one.

Even though I cannot be with him in India right now (I really miss him and his family), his voice is with me in everything I do:
✨ "Relax your face, be smooth, move elegantly, show yourself."
✨ "Stand on both legs evenly—don’t lean to one side. Be present."
✨ "When you water the plants, be fully present, touch them, pour the water like rain, talk to them."
✨ "Don't worry. Connect with Universal Energy. What we need, we can create ourselves!"

🧘‍♂️ Yoga is not just a practice on the mat—it's about being fully present in everything we do. When we are truly present, every action becomes an expression of unity and harmony.

This is why I love my yoga teacher, Dr. Ananda Balayogi Bhavanani. It’s not just his vast knowledge, kindness, or contributions to yoga—it’s his openness about his own growth journey. He shares his struggles openly, showing us how to face our own. He’s a lifelong learner, constantly evolving, and a true role model for embracing growth with playfulness and a smile.

This isn’t just a growth mindset—it’s a benefit mindset. Dr. Ananda grows not just for himself but to support and lift others up along the way. Thank you for your constant guidance 🙏🏼❤️

🥗😋 Our Friday Lunch – simple, natural, and sooo delicious!

🌿 NATURAL INGREDIENTS:
Sprouted mung beans, sweet potato, broccoli, red orache, cherry tomatoes, onion, garlic, ginger, and home-made ghee from cultured Irish butter.

✨ SPICES FOR FLAVOR & DIGESTION:
Turmeric, black pepper, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, coriander, and sweet curry.

🍚 SERVED WITH:
Raw aged Himalayan basmati rice.
