🌐📱 Media Wise multiplication activities have officially started in Buzău! 🚀

📅 On 3 June 2026, we successfully organised the first multiplier activity of the Media Wise – Building Youth Resilience Against Online Manipulation, Disinformation and Internet Deception project at the Stan Săraru Hall, hosted by Buzău City Hall.

👥 The Digital Literacy Workshop brought together 30 high school students from some of the most well-known schools in Buzău, creating an engaging learning environment where young people could strengthen their digital skills and learn how to stay safe online.

💻 During the workshop, participants explored a range of practical topics, including:

🔐 Creating strong and secure passwords
🎣 Recognising phishing attempts and online scams
🌐 Identifying fake and suspicious websites
📲 Understanding the importance of Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
🛡️ Protecting personal data and avoiding oversharing on social media
🧠 Developing critical thinking skills when interacting with online content

🎯 Through interactive exercises, group discussions, real-life examples and digital challenges, students had the opportunity to reflect on their online habits and learn practical ways to protect themselves in the digital world.

✨ The enthusiasm, curiosity and active participation shown by the students demonstrated the importance of providing young people with opportunities to build digital resilience and media literacy skills.

📚 This workshop marks the beginning of a series of multiplier activities that will continue over the coming weeks, helping young people become more confident, informed and responsible digital citizens.

🌟 Senior Wisdom Training – Sinaia 2026 🌟
📍 Alexandrion Experience Hotel 4⭐, Sinaia
📅 20 – 25 April 2026
For six dynamic and inspiring days, the Senior Wisdom training brought together dedicated partners and motivated mentors from six partner countries (Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, Spain, Türkiye and France) in the beautiful mountain setting of Sinaia 🤝
🏨 Hosted by the elegant four-star Alexandrion Experience Hotel, the course offered not only excellent learning conditions but also a meaningful space for collaboration, reflection, and professional growth.
📚 Training Structure & Learning Experience
🔹 Days 1 & 2 – Mentoring Seniors
Participants explored the core role of a mentor, focusing on effective communication, empathy, and practical approaches to working with seniors 👥
🔹 Days 3, 4 & 5 – Digital Skills for Everyday Life
Mentors developed essential competences to support seniors in using digital devices and online services 💻📱
From smartphones and apps to accessing public services, online payments, and communication tools, all sessions were built around real-life applications.
🔹 Day 6 – Reflection & Certification 🎓
The final day was dedicated to consolidating knowledge, sharing insights, and celebrating the successful completion of the course.
💡 Interactive & Modern Training Approach
All sessions were delivered using modern, learner-centred training methods, combining theory with highly interactive formats.
✨ The programme alternated between:
✔ short theoretical inputs
✔ role-playing exercises
✔ group activities and collaborative tasks
Participants were constantly engaged in practical scenarios, allowing them to apply newly acquired knowledge, test mentoring techniques, and experience real-life situations they may encounter when working with seniors.
This approach ensured not only understanding, but also confidence and readiness to act in real contexts.
