INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC DIALOGUE ACROSS FOUR CONTINENTS AT THE 1ST INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP OF DOCTORAL STUDENTS IN LAW
On 24 April 2026, the 1st International Workshop of Doctoral Students in Law “Contemporary Challenges in Comparative Law” was successfully held, bringing together an outstanding international community of young researchers in comparative legal studies.
The event was organized by the Doctoral School of Law within the Faculty of Law of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, in academic partnership with the European Law and Governance School, Italy and Charles University in Prague, confirming the strong commitment of these institutions to fostering excellence in doctoral research and international scholarly cooperation.
The workshop benefited from the valuable keynote contributions of:
- Jakub Handrlica, Faculty of Law, Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic
- Marijana Mladenov, Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary, University Business Academy in Novi Sad, Serbia.
The event took place in a distinguished academic atmosphere and gathered doctoral students in law from four continents: Europe (Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Greece, the Republic of Moldova, North Macedonia, Cyprus), Asia (Turkey, Vietnam), Africa (Uganda, South Africa), and South America (Brazil).
