Our project has qualified for the national stage of the ‘Made for Europe’ competition, which is being held in Romania!!! Maresia, a student at Liceul Teoretic George Moroianu, will represent the school and our entire project in this competition during the final stage, which takes place this week. Go Maresia!!!

One of the keys to Erasmus projects is their sustainability, impact and survival once the funding period ends. What better example of sustainability than the creation of human bonds that go beyond the professional sphere? This week we saw an example of this in Brasov (Romania), where our partners at Poderío Training & Research took advantage of a work meeting to visit the teachers and students at Liceul Teoretic George Moroianu. Your Best Version officially ended in December, but the spirit lives on!

🌟 My Strength Shield: A New Self-Esteem Tool 🌟

Within the Your Best Version project, we have created “My Strength Shield”, an activity that helps students discover and value their personal strengths

Self-esteem Toolkit

Through their own shield, each young person identifies their qualities, achievements, support network, and values—while also receiving additional strengths shared by their peers. 💛

A simple, visual, and powerful tool to strengthen self-esteem and remind them of all the good that already exists within them.

🌈 We continue supporting every student on their journey to becoming their best version.

Europe recognizes the importance of soft skills

The EU highlights the critical role of skills such as communication, empathy, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution in the social and academic development of young people.

🔍 IMPORTANCE OF THE YBV PROJECT

YBV is fully aligned with this European priority because it develops 12 core emotional and interpersonal competencies that adolescents at risk often lack, such as:

- self-esteem

- resilience

- emotional regulation

- adaptability

- teamwork

- empathy

1️⃣ theoretical modules (podcasts + guides),
2️⃣ practical emotional training activities, and
3️⃣ a final international activity in Romania.

Project Closing | Your Best Version

One year. Four partners. Hundreds of learning moments and countless emotional breakthroughs.

As Your Best Version comes to an end, we look back with pride on a journey shared between Spain and Romania, supporting adolescents aged 12–17 at risk of social exclusion through socio-emotional education.

Most importantly, students strengthened skills like self-esteem, empathy, resilience and emotional regulation, while teachers gained practical tools to create more inclusive and supportive learning environments.

Spanish regions are implementing new measures to bring emotional well-being programs into classrooms, reflecting a growing awareness of students' mental health needs.
