Do you know that pie chart with what my kid brings home from kindergarden and the options were something like: arts and crafts projects and the plague? 😅 Well my oldest is still holding on to that, so now we're all sick. What do we do when all of us are sick? Start testing new Trofast activity boards! This time we played with our occupations board. They learned about various jobs and what items each one uses.

Simple and easy playdough hedgehog the kids had fun making today. We used the playdough color each of them picked, so our hedgehogs are white and green and have red eyes... 😅 We used toothpicks and wooden nails for the needles.

Today we played with the alphabet board (that will be available on our etsy shop in a few days!). 🥰 I wrapped the letters in tin foil and jumbled them among a bunch of other different letters. The kids had to find them, open unwrap them (those fine motor skills in action!) and place them back. We made the board without sockets to pull the letters out on purpose. This way they can better visualize where each letter goes and memorize them faster. Then i started hiding the letters throughout the house so they could do a game of hide and seek. 🤩

Inspired by Toddler Approved we created a quick game of "Find the ghost letters". 🤩 I hid the ghost letters all throughout the house and the kids had a lot of fun finding them and putting them back to their places to form the kids' names. It kept them busy for quite a while! 😊

Another Trofast board that's soon to come on our etsy shop is the alphabet! This was actually how everything started for our business. Our oldest loves the alphabet and anything related to letters, so i had to come up with ideas of activities involving letters. That's how i first discovered the Trofast boards a couple of years back and decided to make them. Well this alphabet board was used a lot. I mean A LOT. 😅 We had to constantly remake the letters because he'd take them with him everywhere and, of course, not all of them would make their way back home. 😆 But he loved it and now, at 5 years old he can read quite well and he's teaching his younger brother as well. ❤️
