American Hotel Academy Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programmes in Hospitality and Business Management & Digital Marketing American Hotel Academy is a hotel management school.

It was founded in 2007 in Brasov, Romania, as the first international hotel management school in the country with the main purpose of delivering education and training in hospitality to Romanian and international students interested in pursuing global careers. Our students currently learn from over 30 national and international lecturers, all seasoned professionals or master and PhD educated teachers. Classes and practical sessions take place in the school, downtown Brasov, a beautiful mid-sized city, located in the heart of the country, while industry placements are offered mainly in the United States and Europe. The final result we are aiming for is a global group of alumni who will become the future corporate leaders and entrepreneurs, who will further expand and reinvent the hospitality industry. Our BA Programme is a professionally oriented, 3-year study programme concentrating on the specifics of operating a hotel business. The programme combines the science of management with the art of hospitality by blending theory taught in the classroom with practical training within the school or host companies. Therefore, students are getting not just the necessary knowledge, but the professional and leadership skills that will enable them to take over significant roles as part of the next generation of hospitality professionals. 🍇 Learning beyond the hotel environment took two of our AHA students in Cyprus to Fikardos Winery, where they discovered a different side of the hospitality industry through local culture, tradition and Food & Beverage.

From the wine-making process to authentic Cypriot products and flavours, the visit offered a hands-on look at how local heritage can become part of the guest experience.

A big thank you to the Atlantica Golden Beach team for organizing the visit and creating another meaningful learning experience for our students! 💛

“Be a student as long as you have something to learn, and that will mean all your life.” ✨

You’ll find this quote and many more at AHA. Come discover them for yourself, just as our first-year students did at this year’s Opening Ceremony, this year held as a Garden Celebration. 🌿

What surprised us most was how naturally they connected. Within moments, they were chatting, laughing and coming together as though they had known each other for years. Open, friendly and full of enthusiasm, they already feel like part of the AHA community.

Our Student Services Coordinator, Ioana Barbu, the driving force behind the day’s activities, helped those first connections grow with a Treasure Hunt that brought students together in teams.

They also heard words of encouragement from Mrs Cleopatra Baciu, our Academic Director, and Dr Anthony Manning, Associate Dean International at our partner institution,Arden University.
And throughout the celebration, the entire AHA team was there to welcome students and parents with smiles and joy.

For parents, the day offered something especially meaningful: the reassurance that their children were in good hands. We like to think that was what mattered most as they headed home. 💛

A few more glimpses of our Opening Ceremony, as we celebrated the start of the academic year for our first-year students at American Hotel Academy, garden-style! 🌿

From welcoming words by our Student Services Coordinator and Academic Director to the special pineapple handover, the day was full of moments to remember.

A Treasure Hunt brought everyone together through clues, teamwork and laughter, before the celebration continued at Trickshot () with our student ambassadors.

🌿 A new academic year begins and we’re welcoming it a little differently this year.

On 14 September, our first-year students and their parents are invited to Opening Ceremony 2026: A Casual British Garden Welcome.

We’ll meet at 11:30 in Theatre Park, right next to the American Hotel Academy campus, for a relaxed garden welcome designed around meeting new people, discovering the AHA community and starting this new chapter together.

And because the best way to discover your new campus is to explore it, students will also take part in a Treasure Hunt: their first challenge, first team experience and and one of their first memories at AHA.💙
