So excited about all the things coming to the valley!

We’re reopening—and I bet you’ve all been wondering what we’ve been up to during our closure… 👀

The answer is EVERYTHING. 🧡

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes on all things Connextions—from preschool curriculum and classroom prep to cleaning, decorating, hosting our open house, and officially opening our preschool waitlist! 🎉

And that’s not all…

📚 HOMESCHOOL ENRICHMENT
We’ve been building out our homeschool enrichment classroom, too! A huge thank-you to the husbands who continue to help turn our crazy ideas and big visions into reality. 😂🧡

We’ve also been working closely with our teacher to create the schedule and courses we’ll be offering—and let me tell you… THEY ARE GOOD. I’m so excited about them that I may just have to join in on the fun myself! 😉

👩‍🏫 HOMESCHOOL CO-OP
Come meet new homeschool friends, reconnect with old ones, work together on a co-op project, socialize, or simply change up your scenery and work independently at one of our workstations.

This is a great opportunity to connect with other homeschool families, get out of the house, and maybe even learn something new!

Our co-op is parent-led, and a parent must remain present. We’ll have quiet STEM-based activities and board games available. We’re not promising library-level silence 😂, but we are creating a space that is calm enough for everyone to enjoy their time, work, and connect.

🧸 TODDLER TIME IS BACK!
We know how important Toddler Time is to our community, so we’ve been working to find a way to fit it into everything we’re offering.

We know it’s early, but we think you’ll love it!

Reminder: Toddler Time is for ages 6 and under. 🧡

🎮 OPEN PLAY IS BACK!

We’re bringing Open Play back after school!

Tuesdays & Thursdays | 4:00–5:30 PM
All ages welcome! 🎉

As we continue to grow our team and bring on new employees, we’ll continue adding more Open Play sessions and opportunities throughout the week.

Big Changes Are Coming to Connextions of Alaska! 🧡

We’re pressing pause for two weeks as we reset, refresh, and prepare for an exciting new chapter!

When we reopen, we’ll be launching our Homeschool Enrichment Schedule—designed to give families an engaging, hands-on place where children can learn, create, explore, and connect.

✨ Toddler Time isn’t going anywhere! We’ll continue holding space for our littlest learners with all the fun you’ve come to expect.

💻 NEW! Work Stations for Parents
We’re creating dedicated workspaces for work-from-home parents. Bring your homeschool kiddos to Connextions while you settle into a comfortable workspace, connect to Wi-Fi, and knock out your to-do list while they enjoy a safe, enriching environment.

👀And that’s not all… our Parent Fitness Area is opening too! Need to move your body while your children play or learn? Our small exercise space will be available so you can fit in a workout, stretch, or simply recharge while you’re here.

We have so many exciting things in the works, and we truly believe this next chapter will better serve families in our community.

Allow me to reintroduce myself! Hi, I'm
Jessalyn, owner of Inspired Tutors. I am a former elementary & special education teacher who wanted to get away from the confines of the public school system and help support children and families in a different way.

For the past 4 years, Inspired Tutors has only offered virtual tutoring sessions across the U.S.. This summer, I have started offering in-person tutoring in my home city of Wasilla, Alaska and it has been amazing! I have the most amazing partner on the East Coast that continues to work with virtual students, but l’ll also be looking for some help locally within the next few months.
