One article says AI will eventually replace traditional social metrics.

So I tested something.

I wrote one post using AI tools.

Optimized headline.
Predicted engagement.
Best time to post.
Trending keywords.

It performed "well".

Then a week later, I posted something completely unplanned.

No optimization.
No timing strategy.
Just frustration and honesty.

That one sparked more real conversations.

And it led to actual business.

Now I’m not anti-AI. As you can see, I am pro AI

But I am starting to wonder:

Are we optimising for performance…

Or for connection?

Because those don’t always seem to be the same thing.

07/03/2026

One article claims AI will make traditional social metrics obsolete.

Maybe.

But here’s what I’m not convinced about:

Every time I post something, I don’t check reach first.

I scroll straight to the comments.

Not how many.

But what kind.

Are people talking to me?
Or are they talking to each other?

Because I’ve had posts with “great metrics” that felt empty.

And posts with modest reach where the comment section turned into a real conversation.

AI can measure clicks.
It can predict timing.
It can optimize wording.

But can it measure whether someone felt understood enough to respond?

That part still feels human.

And honestly… that’s the only metric that’s ever led to anything meaningful for me.

Curious how others decide what actually counts as “working.”

06/03/2026

Last year I had a post hit 1,200 likes.

Notifications all day.
Shares.
New followers.

It felt like I “won” social media that week.

A few days later, I posted something way more specific.

It got 12 likes.

No hype.
No algorithm boost.
Nothing flashy.

But that second post led to 3 serious inquiries and 2 paying clients.

And it completely messed with how I measure “success” online.

The loud post got attention.

The quiet one got buyers.

Now every time I see a post explode, I catch myself wondering what it’s actually producing behind the scenes.

Because visibility and value are not always the same thing.

05/03/2026

I will make a confession.

Last month, I stopped checking my likes.

Not because I’m evolved.
Because I realised they were messing with my head.

If a post did well → I felt smart.
If it didn't → I questioned everything.

So I made a rule:

For 30 days, I wouldn’t look at the numbers.

No reach.
No impressions.
No refreshing the screen.

Instead, I paid attention to the following:

• Who messaged me
• Who replied thoughtfully
• Who started actual conversations

And something weird happened.

My content got clearer.
More specific.
Less “perform-y.”

It felt less like posting into a scoreboard and more like talking to people.

Now I’m wondering how much of what we post is shaped by chasing visible validation.

And how different it would look if we couldn’t see the numbers at all.

04/03/2026

My analytics swear my audience is most active at 9PM.

So for months, I scheduled everything at night.

Decent likes.
Predictable engagement.

Last week I posted something at 6:07AM by accident.

No peak-hour strategy.
No optimization.
No “best time to post” formula.

And the conversations were deeper.

Fewer likes.
More actual discussion.

People shared stories.
They asked real questions.

It felt… different.

Now I’m wondering if “best time to post” really means “best time to scroll".

Two very different things.

03/03/2026

Imagine opening Facebook and there are no likes.
No reach.
No visible numbers at all.

Would your content change?

I have a feeling most of us would post very differently — and maybe more honestly.

Now I can’t stop thinking about what we’re really optimizing for.

03/03/2026

Last month I almost deleted a post because it "flopped".

Low likes.
Low reach.
Barely any comments.

According to the analytics dashboard, it was a failure.

But something told me to leave it.

Three days later, I got a DM:

“Hey, I did not want to comment publicly… but can we talk about this?”

Then another.

Then another.

That “low-performing” post quietly turned into paying work.

And it made me realise something uncomfortable:

"We’re measuring noise, not intent."

The loud posts get applause.
The quiet ones get clients.

Now I’m rethinking what I call “bad engagement".

Curious how many opportunities we have all deleted too early?

What is Entity-Based SEO? The essential strategy for visibility in 2026 and beyond.
- The Paradigm Shift: SEO is moving from "Strings" (isolated keywords) to "Things" (distinct, connected concepts).
- The Focus: Optimising relationships between different concepts, established brands, and individuals.
- The Business Impact: Builds semantic authority that AI recommendation engines recognise and prioritise.
- The Application: This strategy is critical for success in Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO).
To future-proof our visibility, you must shift your content strategy. Focus on building a structured Knowledge Graph of interlinked, authoritative topics rather than chasing disconnected search terms. In 2026, authority is determined by context, not just keywords.
