CBT Presentation Method
The essence of the CBT is to provide sufficient information to the students in the form of an optimum
combination of text, visual, and aural contents while engaging the students through interactivity, if and
where possible. Every screen is comprised of text and relevant visual presentation. The text has an
audio overlay. The CBT navigation is very simple and intuitive.
Learning Management System (LMS)
The CBT is bundled with a Learning Management System (LMS). The LMS provides functionalities to
facilitate instructors to perform all necessary administrative functions such as:
• Registration of students by assigning login name and password.
• Monitoring student progress by retrieving students’ session information (time spent on CBT, number
of topics completed, etc.).
• Evaluation of students’ understanding through tests.
• Updating question bank by adding new questions and/or by deleting/modifying old questions.
• Scheduling tests for individuals or for groups
The LMS has many features and functionalities additional to the above list.
