Ralph C. Smedley was the founder of Toastmasters International, an organization dedicated to helping individuals improve their public speaking and leadership skills. Born in 1878, Smedley established the first Toastmasters club in Santa Ana, California, in 1924. His vision of providing a supportive environment for personal growth has since expanded globally, with millions of members benefiting from his legacy.
