Our Charter - The Beginning of Our Journey..
Every great journey begins with a single step. For our club, it began with this Charter certificate - the official recognition of our dream to create a space for communication, leadership, and growth - a friendly place where inhibitions are shed to communicate effectively - which has since become our tag line.
You’ll notice the name on this certificate is Brindavan, the name we proudly started with. As the club evolved, so did its identity - and today we are known as Talking Matters Toastmasters Club. Different name, same heart, same spirit.

Our 503rd meeting on Wednesday 10th September 2025, marked a special milestone in the journey of our club. Our Founder President, Rammohan Mohandas Rai, DTM, officially handed over the Charter Certificate to the present leadership team - a moment filled with pride, gratitude and inspiration.
In his words:
“This Charter is more than a certificate; it is an emotion and the heartbeat of our club. It carries the vision of those early days when we dared to dream, and the passion of every member who helped bring that dream to life. As I hand it over to the present leadership, I do so with complete confidence that they will not only preserve what was built, but also elevate it to greater heights. This symbolic handover reminds us that while leaders may change, the spirit of Toastmasters and the legacy of this club will always endure."

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of one of our beloved Past Presidents and cherished members, Toastmaster Paul Easy, in the UK..
Paul was more than just a Toastmaster, he was a true gentleman, a mentor, and a warm human being who left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Whether it was his poise, grace, or gentle encouragement, Paul inspired many during his time with Talking Matters and in the wider Toastmasters community in Qatar.
We fondly remember his dignified presence, his friendly disposition, and yes, that unforgettable sparkle of humor - especially in his iconic “I’m Easy… Paul Easy” James Bond-themed speech. He carried himself with charm and humility and remained a guiding light to many in their formative Toastmasters journeys.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his beloved wife and our Past President, Meena Gupta-Easy , and daughters Anika and Sonia, during this difficult time. Paul will be remembered with love, respect, and deep gratitude.
May his noble soul rest in eternal peace. 🌹🙏🏽

Talking Matters Toastmasters Club hosted a family staycation event for it's members and their families at North Vacation Villa in Al Ruwais. It was a night of revelry with group games, yummy food and non stop chatter till 4.00 AM in the morning ! The morning was as much fun as the evening with everyone having breakfast together , some hitting the swimming pool while some indulged in song and dance. It is these joyous moments of togetherness which brings about bonhomie within the club and make it seem like one big family
