SLMQ Completes Well Project in Radagama, Hettipola, Kurunegala District
SLMQ, with the support of its members, has successfully completed a well project in Radagama, Hettipola, Kurunegala District. The project was coordinated by the Nida Foundation.
The initiative focused on providing safe, clean water to local communities by building a well. This effort directly benefited over 40 families in the area, helping to improve public health and daily living.
With the combined efforts of SLMQ and Nida Foundation, the project highlights the positive impact of community-driven development and the importance of accessible water resources.

Janaza Announcement – 29th October 2025
Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu,
It's with a heavy heart that we have to let you know about the passing of our dear brother, Br. Imthiyas Samsudeen. He was one of the past Presidents of SLMQ and a pivotal member in contributing towards SLMQ throughout. His dedication and commitment towards social and the community service has been exemplary and this loss will be noticed for the time to come.
His Janaza proceedings took place in Sri lanka.
May Allah bless him with Jannathul Firdous, forgive his shortcomings, accept all his good deeds and give his family and loved ones the patience and strength to endure this loss.
