World Book Day!
The children celebrated World Book Day, sharing the improtance of books and how reading is at an all time low across the world. We build enjoyment for reading, encouraging love for reading and larger opportunities to read inside and outside of school.
We are also to be grateful to have access to books and platforms to read, as not all children have this chance.
We celebrated in school by dressing up as book characters and the best homemade costumes won a prize to choose their own amazing book from our school book fair!

STEM DAY!
Today in our school we took part in STEM day, all the children had an science and engineering project to make their own balloon car. The car that went the furthest recieved a prize.
We were super impressed with all the children’s scientific hard work and their engineering skills.
We also had a visitor from a Neurologist, who demonstrated parts of the brain, different waves of thinking as well as testing out a electro cap to see any changes in brain wave activity. What a funday!
School Sports Day!
Our school had a great time at sports day and to celebrate our winners at the end with an assembly.

KS2 Sports Day!
Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 had a fantastic day on Sports Day!
The children had so much fun doing egg and spoon races, sack races, throwing and basket balls.

EYFS and Year 3 had a fantastic time on their trip to Al Sulaiteen Agricultural & Industrial Complex- SAIC Farm the children explored plants, green houses, farming, and even fed animals.

Year 4 had a lovely trip to Education City Micro farm to learn about plants, how they grow and the germination. They looked deeper into the science of plants and was even able to take some home!
