Thank to everyone that came to our movie screening where we screened two short films, one titled "The Present" and the other was "Ismail" where the first one offered a glimpse into current Palestinian life under military occupation and the other about the horrifying displacement that happened during the Nakba.

With the help of Al Quds Bard College and The Palestinian Musuem of Ramallah. SJP was able to do an exhibition titled "Gaza Remains The Story" to highlight the beauty and richness of life in Gaza in the face of ongoing genocide, while also emphasizing that the people of Gaza have their own important stories that deserve to be heard and shared.
Thank you to those that helped out and joined.

There will be a global strike tomorrow in solidarity with Palestine. This means refraining from spending any money, no shopping, no purchases as a form of disruption. The goal is to collectively contribute to an economic shutdown in protest.
At GUQ, we’re encouraging everyone to take part and to spread the word to friends and community members. Don’t buy, don’t spend, don’t go out. Stand in solidarity until the genocide ends.
We must all take action. We can’t stay idle while Palestinians are being genocided, starved, and erased. Connect with each other. Mobilize. Act.
We’ll also be tabling in the atrium tomorrow at 1:00pm and sharing more about what’s happening in Gaza.
