Students Lead, Teachers Inspire: Teachers’ Day 2026
“Teachers shape minds, inspire hearts, and empower the leaders of tomorrow.”
DPS Monarch International School celebrated Teachers’ Day 2026 with a vibrant and heartfelt programme organized by the School Committee, bringing the school community together to honour the dedication and invaluable contribution of its teachers.
The celebration was graced by Mr. Rocky Fernandes, School President; Mr. Sreedharan Kunniramath, Vice President; Mr. Shashi Shekhar Patra, Manager – Facilities; Ms. Asna Nafees, Group Academic Advisor; School Principal Ms. Meenal Bakshi; Ms. Neetu Balan, Headmistress – Secondary; Ms. Sudha Bhuvaneswar, Headmistress – Middle School; Ms. Avlin Blossom, Headmistress – Primary; and Ms. Manju Shihas, Headmistress – Kindergarten.
Inspiring addresses by Ms. Meenal Bakshi, Mr. Rocky Fernandes, Mr. Sreedharan Kunniramath, and Ms. Asna Nafees highlighted the vital role of teachers in shaping young minds and nurturing future-ready learners.
Making the celebration truly special, students took charge of the entire programme—from confident anchoring and coordinating the proceedings to conducting engaging games for teachers. Their initiative, teamwork, and responsibility reflected the strong culture of student leadership at DPS Monarch. Adding a thoughtful touch, the Student Council members themselves purchased vouchers to felicitate the winners of the teachers’ games.
Captivating performances, heartfelt tributes, and moments of laughter beautifully reflected the students’ love, respect, and appreciation for their teachers.
More than a celebration of gratitude, Teachers’ Day 2026 showcased the student agency and leadership nurtured at DPS Monarch. By empowering students with opportunities to lead, serve, and contribute, the school continues to shape not only successful learners but also compassionate, confident, creative, responsible, and capable future leaders.
