Year 4 have certainly had plenty of reasons to smile during National Smile Month, with a very special visit from a team of dentists last week bringing learning about oral health to life in a fun and engaging way.

As part of the session, pupils explored the importance of good oral hygiene, healthy eating choices, and proper tooth care, before also having the opportunity to receive a dental check-up from the visiting dentists.

The children were highly engaged throughout, asking thoughtful questions and enthusiastically taking part in interactive discussions.

At Doha College, opportunities such as these are an important part of the holistic educational experience we provide, helping pupils develop healthy habits, confidence, and an understanding of wellbeing beyond the classroom.

A huge thank you to the team from the British International Dental Centres for helping keep our Year 4 smiles bright and for making learning about dental health such a fun, engaging and confidence-boosting experience for our pupils!

A wonderful conclusion to this year’s Flying Start Programme for our future FS1 pupils joining Doha College in the 2026–2027 academic year.

It has been a joy to welcome our youngest learners and their families into the Doha College community through a series of engaging, supportive and carefully designed transition sessions. The programme has given children the opportunity to explore, play, build confidence, and begin forming the early connections that will help them feel ready and excited for school life.

A massive thank you to our dedicated teachers and staff whose care, enthusiasm and thoughtful planning have made this such a positive and reassuring experience for both children and parents. Your support ensures that every child feels seen, valued and ready for the journey ahead.

We are now looking forward with great excitement to welcoming our new FS1 cohort in the new academic year. The Class of 2026–2027 is already on their way to becoming part of the Doha College story, and we cannot wait to see them thrive as they take their first steps into school life with us.

An incredible celebration of talent, creativity and house spirit at this year’s House Music Festival at Doha College.

From powerful choir performances to outstanding solo moments, the festival showcased the confidence, dedication and musical talent of pupils across Key Stage 3. Congratulations to Viper House for taking the overall win, with a standout solo performance from Avaanyaa and a memorable House Choir rendition of Fireworks.

A key part of the DC Difference is the breadth of opportunities available beyond the classroom, empowering pupils to discover their passions. Through the House system, pupils from different year groups come together to collaborate, compete and build lasting connections, creating a strong sense of belonging and community across the school.

A special thank you also goes to our wonderful parent volunteers, whose support and dedication on the day helped make the event possible.
