Doha College is the only not-for-profit British curriculum international school in Qatar, offering an outstanding education to students between the ages of 3 and 18. We offer a British education to over 2,000 students, between the ages of 3 and 18, who represent over 75 nationalities. We follow the National Curriculum of England and offer Pre School, GCSEs through to A levels and we are delighted to be the first school in Qatar to offer High Performance Learning.

As we begin a new academic year, we look back on our 2025–2026 Big 6 and the leadership journey they shared at Doha College.

At Doha College, we place great emphasis on nurturing future leaders. Pupil leadership is a cornerstone of our holistic education, giving pupils meaningful opportunities to take initiative, find their voice and make a positive contribution to our community.

At the forefront of our Secondary Leadership programme are the Big 6, who represent the voice of our pupil community, support initiatives across the College and lead by example. Their roles help build confidence, teamwork and a strong sense of responsibility, while encouraging them to serve and inspire those around them.

It was wonderful to welcome so many parents to our Coffee Mornings last week, and we’re looking forward to continuing these gatherings with our year-group-specific sessions.

Starting from Sunday, 6 September, parents from each year group are warmly invited to join us at 7.30 am in the Sports Café. Each session offers an opportunity to connect with other parents, meet members of our team and hear information relevant to your child’s year group.

We look forward to welcoming you over the coming weeks and continuing to strengthen the connections across our Doha College community.

And just like that… we’re back!

Our corridors are buzzing, classrooms are coming to life, and there are new faces, new friendships and new adventures getting underway. From meeting new peers and teachers to exploring the campus and discovering what’s new, it’s been a brilliant start to the academic year.

As we begin a new year together, we’re looking forward to inspiring minds through a year of discovery, courage and humanity, in the classroom and far beyond it.

Congratulations to our IGCSE pupils on their outstanding exam results!

An incredible 58% of our pupils achieved grades A* (9–8), with 78% of all grades awarded at A*–A (9–7), 95% at A*–B (9–5) and 98% at A*–C (9–4).

We are incredibly proud of our IGCSE pupils and all they have accomplished. These results are a testament to the hard work, determination and commitment they have shown throughout their learning journeys, as well as their ability to rise to challenges with confidence.

Their achievements also reflect the dedication of our fantastic teachers, alongside the invaluable encouragement and support of families and the wider Doha College community.

We congratulate every pupil on their achievements and wish them every success as they begin the next stage of their educational journey and look ahead to A Levels.

We are celebrating our A Level pupils for their fantastic examination results!

An incredible 39% of our pupils achieved A* grades, with 63% of all grades awarded at A*–A, 84% at A*–B, and 95% at A*-C. Additionally, nine pupils from the A Level cohort achieved four A* grades. Well done to our pupils for achieving a 100% pass rate.

These results are a wonderful reflection of the hard work, determination and commitment our pupils have shown throughout their studies. Their achievements are particularly meaningful given the challenges faced across the region, and we are immensely proud of the resilience and perseverance they have demonstrated along the way.

This success also reflects the dedication of our exceptional teachers and the encouragement of our wider Doha College community, who have supported our pupils throughout their A Level journey.

Congratulations to our Class of 2026! You have made us incredibly proud. As you prepare to take your next steps beyond Doha College, we look forward to seeing where your ambitions take you and all that you will achieve.
