We’re constantly encouraged to optimise our work, our health, our habits, even our downtime. Somewhere along the way, many of us started treating joy as something to earn rather than something to experience.
For children, play is simply part of their every day. For adults, not so much.
This International Day of Play, Nord Anglia students gave their parents something many adults struggle to give themselves: Permission to Play.
A simple gesture and a powerful reminder.
When did we start believing that play gets in the way of growth?
Children understand something many of us forget: play doesn’t get in the way of progress.
