Wishing you all a peaceful year end...

May you be able to release any emotions, situations and ties that weigh you down and don't serve anymore.

May you be able to take the teachings of this year without getting attached to them or over identify with the role you played in it.

May you be able to sit with your truth, your inner voice and formulate your wishes for 2024.

May you know peace within and around you.

Enjoy this festive season and I have two offerings for you:

This Wednesday, 27th December at 7pm - Full Moon Gong Bath to find space to release the old and invite the new

Next Monday, 1st January 2024 at 9.30am - Vinyasa Flow Yoga to anchor the new year into your physical body and start the new year in style in Sao Lourenco, Tomar

PM me for more details and registration!

Reflections as we move into the quiet time....

The winter solstice is right upon us and this marks the time of the year I love sitting in ceremony even more than any other time. It's such a potent time to tune inwards and sit with your truth. Lately I have been thinking a lot about what I want 2024 to look like. And I don't mean any materialistic values but what I'd like to feel.

Right up at the top is that I want to simply be real and embrace humanness.

I simply want to experience life, find my balance in it all, live emotions, release whatever was and does not need to be in my life anymore and be present. When we spent time in Peru visiting pre-incan ceremonial spaces we saw many places where our ancestors used to release emotions so they could move forward in more peace.

So no, I don't want to live 'my best version every day'. I want to be experience it all, the highs, the lows, the inbetweens.

I want to be able to make mistakes and not beat myself up for it over and over.
I want to embrace the sides of me that might not be 'sparkly' and 'high-vibe' all the time and still be my biggest fan and supporter.
I want to laugh about myself and absolutely not take everything so serious.

So I am allowing stillness and ease into the next 2 weeks - celebrating the solstice and the 'Raunächte' (time between xmas and the three holy kings) by simply being present and in ceremony with my teachers, my instruments and my beloved cacao :)

Oh, and if you'd like to get a slice of that, the Gong Bath for the full moon will happen on the 27th December, let's walk together!

It's been a long time.

When I turned 40 I called in a massive transformation. Little did I know which dragons I was about to wake up.

I battled.
I rediscovered.
I became softer.
I stopped craving external validation.
Perfect exists no more.
I cried.
I laughed hard.

And most importantly, I am HOME.

I arrived in a place that I can truly call home. And now I see how much I previously fought for never arriving. I much rather ran away, hiding behind masks, a fancy travel lifestyle and other things to make sure I didn't have to be vulnerable. Not to be judged for who I truly am. Not to be in sync with myself.

Well, it's been a hell of a ride for me - moving to Portugal, being chosen by my furbabies to be their mum, dating for real and tuning in to mother earth and her gifts. But I love every minute of it and boy, I have a lot to say :)

With love and peace in my heart,
Sibylle

What if...
There wouldn't be a tomorrow?
You couldn't remember yesterday?

What if you chose to friggin love, accept and appreciate what you HAVE right now instead of wishing that A, B or C happened instead?

What if you devoted yourself to having the most awesome life even if things aren't 100% picture perfect?

And what if you opened your heart and allowed the magic to come in to make you smile, be in awe and live joy?

Life as we know it is falling apart BUT mother nature is abundantly awesome and amazing and I can't stop but marvel at it ❤️

Stop with the BUT, and figure out the HOW.

If you live in an eternal fight of not deserving, being good enough or not finding the time to make the necessary changes you will always hide behind the but's in your life.

I got fed up of the but. And am much more invested in the how's these days.

And this one was fairly simple to figure:
✨ Book a plane ticket to Hawai'i
✨ Get a convertible
✨ Discover the magic and celebrate 40th birthday

When I am in it for the long run I show:
✨Willingness to figure sh*t out
✨ Acceptance that not every frigging moment has sparkles flying around me
✨Believe that the sp*ed in which I am going is just fine
✨Non-attachment to small set backs, detours and things not going my way

When I want the short fix I:
🔨Want results immediately
🔨 Gallop away, full steam ahead only to find myself exhausted shortly after
🔨Take it personal if things don't work out
🔨Chase the NEXT thing that could be the magic formula

I lived in the quick fix for a looooong time. Changing jobs, relationships, countries, courses, teacher trainings and ideas were all a way to get a quick fix because I did not want to deal with sh*t.

Always on to the next thing. Never staying long enough to truly go through the motions, ups and downs, find solutions and gather a steady pace.

I am in it for the long run now. Deep personal work, shadow hunting, belief slaying, energy alchemy... you name it. It's changed my life, my outlook and the way I approach and appreciate things.

So next time you reach for the next quick fix remember - it'll always catch up with you eventually 🎁

Once again I found myself in a right pickle between following my intuition/heart and giving in to my ego.

My ego wanted to prove something I worked really hard for.

My heart wanted me to see what was going to be so much more beneficial for me.

The battle began. The opponents were pushing, pulling and shoving and I was in a bad mood, short-tempered and impatient.

My ego was about to win and then my body switched on. Tired of my system going into overdrive it paralysed me - my neck went into spasms and I literally had to stop. ENOUGH.

So I gave in to releasing.
Releasing my expectations.
Releasing the 'but I invested so much time in it!'
Releasing the idea that I was in love with.

And just as I decided to count my blessings and enjoy the moment again I stumbled across what I was looking for all along.

And here is the moral of the story for you:

If you are trying to make a decision and you feel tense, stressed, closed in and your body is not at ease it probably is not the right choice. RUN and don't look back.

If you feel expansive and feel that you can truly breathe into your heart, it is definitely the right choice.

Laugh. Until your belly hurts...

Look. So many micro moments of happiness are hidden below your day to day life dramas and ego games...

Stop. Taking. Every. Damn. Thing. So. Serious.

Bliss is always there, like an app running in the back.

Do you find the time to open up to it? That's the other question...

What I was laughing about in this picture:
My lovely personal paparazzi told me to lie down in the grass. I got myself into position and started smelling dog p*e everywhere! When I wanted to get up Sarah just told me 'stay, I haven't taken the perfect picture yet'.

Oh well, p*e washes off again :)

I miss my Caribbean family, the vibes, the togetherness and the joy that comes with hearing your favourite music.

- we will do this again next year, with even more appreciation for the lil things in life!

On the upside I just held space together with my cacao sister for an amazing journey through the chakras 💜🔥

PC: to a wonderful ABIR family member (cyan remember by the life of god) with my bestest bestie eva!
