BIG
🔥
We use this word in all sorts of contexts.. contai.. many a context... errwhere.
That's a BIG dude.
(He will punch you to the moon.)
Holey-moley...
that's a BIG (insert item).
😵
Now, we want to be VERY fancy and replace this one with something more... well... eloquent.
🔥
I know this is a BIG ask... but please help suggest some other words.
🔥
What's a better word for BIG?

Over to YOU!

We are all storytellers.
🔥
“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we’ll ever do.”
Dr. Brené Brown delivered a presentation on “The power of vulnerability” at TEDx Houston. As a professor at the University of Houston, Brown studies vulnerability, courage, authenticity, and shame. It’s a pretty big subject area to squeeze into 18 minutes, yet Brown did it so well that her presentation has been viewed 15 million times and has turned Brown into a New York Times bestselling author.
🤔
How?
“I thought, you know, I am a storyteller. I’m a qualitative researcher. I collect stories; that’s what I do. Maybe stories are just data with a soul. And maybe I’m just a storyteller.”
😎
In a business presentation, you’re telling the story behind your campaign, company, or product.
In a job interview, you’re telling the story behind your personal brand.
In a marketing pitch, you’re telling the story about your idea.
🤓
Remember:
Data won’t get you standing ovations;
A brand alone cannot connect with people;
Dr Brené Brown delivered a presentation on “The power of vulnerability” at TEDx Houston. As a professor at the University of Houston, Brown studies vulnerability, courage, authenticity, and shame. Audiences will not feel anything for just words;
Stories will.
Stories inform, illuminate, and inspire.
Tell more of them.

Is writing your story a pain in the neck?
🤔
Are you looking for words that raise the spirits and get you paid?
🎨
Well, if you are an artist, of any kind, who needs the written word that gives people goosebumps, you came to the right place.
🤓
Let’s face it; lousy copy dampens people’s spirits.
👟
They quite literally run for the hills.
📓
When you tell your story, you want people to relate to it, stick around, give you money for your services and spread the gospel.
🌟
Story writing is where I shine the brightest.
🔥
Your story. My words.
😱
Yes, many ghost puns, I know, but that’s the spirit.

How To Use UX Storytelling To Write a Compelling Case Study
You can use storytelling in your UX process to write an engaging case study and create empathy…
02/03/2021
Your Case Study Essentials
🕵️
UX portfolios and case studies are always a hot topic.
⭕
How long should your case studies be?
How many projects should you display?
How to make them attractive?
What is storytelling?
Where and when to use storytelling?
😰
The list of questions is endless, which makes sense, considering how competitive the field of UX is becoming.
🧟♂️
While there's not always a right answer and much less a one-size-fits-all approach, there's a technique that never gets old:
🔑
Storytelling.
🧠
We went into the Batcave to come up with a plan.
Together with the first lady of UX, .by.ana, we created a Workshop to answer these questions and deliver them to you Live.
🖥️
"How To Use UX Storytelling To Write a Compelling Case Study"
👌
Writing a great Introduction
Design Tips for a Case Study
The middle part of a Case Study
What to include in a Case Study Conclusion
Frameworks to make it compelling
Use of Storytelling to combine it
Cover letter to wrap it up

You can get early bird tickets if you sign up until tomorrow, March 3:

How Covid almost killed my engagement
😎
Storytime:
When Covid started, we were separated by an ocean.
We were forced to use technology to 'be' together.
😰
New norms got forced on us, and we had to adapt, adjust and overcome.
🖥️
A board game became a LAN party.
Valentine's day was' n rose in binary.
🌹
01110010 01101111 01110011 01100101
(Actual rose in binary)
✈️
We manoeuvred through countries like spies.
Started a project together .co .
All this while being followed by the boogie man (Corona).
🕵️
Only and the two of us know how we pulled this off.
Where there is a will, there will always be a way (masks not included).
💬
Was it all worth it?
👌
A definite YES!
❤️
Today I'm celebrating 2 amazing months of being married to my soulmate and work partner in crime .by.ana.
Happy Valentines Day to you and to ALL!!
🤯
Lesson:
Capitalise on chaos.
Ensure that what you are doing and striving for will be worth any sacrifices you will have to make along the way.
If it's a relationship, job, project, engagement (social included) or anything in life.
When something is important to you, you will find a way.
