Manuel left Portugal at the young age of 18 to go to Latin America. This was the beginning of his global learning process. This small step led to a Bachelor in Management in 1982 in Pontíficia Universidade Católica in Brazil, then he came back to Portugal to do a post-graduate in 2003 at Universidade Nova de Lisboa followed by a post-graduate degree in Marketing in 2007 at Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão, culminating with an Advanced Management Program in 2009 at Harvard Business School in Boston, USA

The international environment and the life experience which Manuel lived created an all new perspective in the perception and comprehension of societies and cultures, creating a new human vision of working and living. In addition to his role as a Leadership Professor Manuel acts also as a Executive Coach. Passionate achiever and decisive leader with multi-national management experience Manuel is an innovative, pragmatic, and multi-faceted executive leader, with strong background in leading teams, managing people, developing business and also in finance, marketing and IT. Manuel is also co founder of 3 startups in different industries.
