Bucharest — literally "the city of joy" — is the capital of Romania, and is located in Eastern Europe, on the Dâmbovița River in the historical region of Muntenia. It has a well-preserved historical center, with authentic medieval Romanian architecture in the Curtea Veche district and splendid 19th century architecture along the Calea Victoriei street. For its beauty, it was known as "little Paris" in the interbelic period.

What are the biggest waves you have seen in your life?

This weekend big waves (5.5 meter swell) are expected in Nazaré, Portugal.
Nazaré is famous for its giant swells (among the biggest in the world), caused by ocean water entering a ~230 km underwater canyon leading to Praia do Norte (northern Beach) in Nazaré. Forecast: http://www.surf-forecast.com/breaks/Nazare/forecasts/latest/six_day

The arguably biggest surfed wave ever was the "Big Mama", reported to be approx. 35 meters high. It was surfed by Hugo Vau in January 2018.
