Last night, for the final time in 2020, I held an opening ceremony to welcome 16 incredible women into my 8 week mentorship program, 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙐𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝘽𝙡𝙪𝙚𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙩.⁣
⁣
As I sat before them, knowing the growth they’re about to experience, I couldn’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of sisterhood, gratitude, and love.❤️⁣
⁣
These women have decided to take the leap; to rise up, not just to start their own service based online business, but to discover 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲.⁣
⁣
To see 16 women from all over the globe 🌍 (yes UCB is officially international!) proclaim that NOW is the time to step into their power, to face their fears, and to create a life they’ve always wanted, 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘂𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆.⁣

Tears swelled in my eyes as they each shared their vision for what this program means to them and why they are choosing to go on this journey, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿.⁣

Why?⁣
⁣
𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.✨⁣
⁣
2 years ago (almost to the day!) I decided I wasn’t going to stand for an average life.⁣
⁣
I chose the road less taken in order to uncover my 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗘 self, even though it meant choosing the road that would spin me into the 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀.⁣
⁣
But I now know that decision 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳.⁣
⁣
By choosing to overcome my own fears and become my highest Self, I was choosing to 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲.⁣
⁣
That’s the thing about rising up… it’s a 𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁.💧⁣
⁣
As I empower these women, they inevitably empower others, who then empower others…⁣
And so on and so forth.⁣
⁣
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀.⁣
⁣
None of this would’ve happened if I didn’t choose my Self. My true Self.⁣
⁣
So today, I thank me.⁣
For showing up.⁣
For doing the work even when it wanted to break me. ⁣
For creating something 𝘀𝗼 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱.⁣
