Hello, and welcome to my page! I’m a friendly, patient, experienced online tutor and native English speaker from the south-east of the UK, now living in Portugal. The following online lessons are available, tailored to your individual needs:
• Conversation lessons (50 minutes speaking and 10 minutes feedback, with helpful revision notes emailed to you after the session).
• General English lessons, tailored to your individual needs.
• English for medical, nursing and healthcare professionals.
Adults with any level of English are welcome. Prices range from €15,00 to €27,50/hour, with discounts available for block bookings of 10.

To ride the gravy train (idiom): If someone's riding the gravy train, they're making lots of money for doing very little work. The man in this picture feels that some of our politicians are riding the gravy train. Note the excellent placement of the apostrophe, which is sadly often missing or misplaced! 😀
It's National Doughnut Week in the UK - mmmm! All week, bakers and cafés will be selling doughnuts to raise money for The Children's Trust charity to help children with brain injuries. Do bakers in your country make doughnuts? What cakes are popular in your country?
