For over 20 yrs I’ve been a host of groups.

And for over 20 yrs it has been such a blessing to do this work.

This morning I got my feedback back from my work as a host during the Vision Retreat by .

I got a 9.6

Wow. Highest score ever.

It felt as if I have stepped into a new level, onto a new platform.

And even more it’s less and less about me, about my ego. And more and more about the proces, the group, the transformations.

“She is the master, wise and a great intuition.”

I also got feedback to improve:

“Be a bit more professional in her attitude. The jokes are funny, but it made her feel like a peer instead of the facilitator I needed for my proces.”

Yes I hear this. 100%

And it’s exactly the thing that has been holding me back.

You know, the jokes help me to cope with my insecurities, my fear to go all in. To go deep.

It was my ego too scared to go deeper…

And I already went deeper than ever.

So thank you for the feedback. It has given me permission to go even deeper. It’s scary but I feel me and my ego can handle it.

Next Vision Retreat 10 - 16 July at Ericeira

Its crazy but I know I’ll be a relationship coach for the rest of my life.

So happy with laying the fundaments of my coaching skills with .nl and .

Another important part of my education has been .community.

My focus will be on the modern relationship challenges, like:

• I can’t find the one…
• We want to open our relationship
• We want to divorce as friends
• We were in love, but now it’s getting boring
• How can we be conscious in our fighting?

So thankful for this life that I can help people with these challenges that determine the quality of our lives.

Ik lig hier niet. Ik sta.

Achter een betonnen blok.

Voor een super mooi idioot groot architectonische hoogstandje, dat zelfs vanuit mijn kleine dorpje boven Amsterdam te zien is.

Maar wat ik echt kwijt wil is dat ik mij nog elke dag kan verbazen over hoe bizar het is dat wij leven.

Dat nou deze aardkloot leefbaar bleek. En dat nou net wij uit die miljarden jaren evolutie zijn gekomen.

En daarmee wil ik dan ook direct de herfst in luiden.

Het seizoen bij uitstek om stil te staan dat alles ooit vergaat.

Inclusief dat idioot grote gebouw achter mij.

En natuurlijk JIJ en IK.

Dat is dus de boodschap.

Je weet wel. You only live once. Super cheesy, heel millennial, maar oh zo waar.

Dusssss waar zit je op te wachten? Waarom doe je niet wat je echt wil doen?

Okay dat was ‘m voor vandaag.

ZET ‘M OP!

Kijk, dit ben ik in actie. Als je dit ziet. Wat denk je dan?

Ik noem mijzelf IT Leadership Coach.

Maar dat voelt stiekem een beetje te beperkt.

Inhoudelijk klopt het.

Ik ben expert op het gebied van leiderschap in de IT.

Ik heb daar een visie op.

Mijn visie start met het idee dat IT-Business Alignment altijd de focus moet hebben, en veel bewuste pro-actieve investering van tijd, geld en aandacht nodig heeft.

IT-Business Alignment.

Simpel gezegd: dat de verkopers en de makers in jouw bedrijf elkaar zo goed mogelijk verstaan zonder dat ze elkaar gaan pleasen.

Integendeel! Ik wil dat die dynamiek blijft bestaan, die vaak ongemakkelijke dynamiek van “de klant wilt dit” en “okay maar dat betekent X”.

Hoe meer ik begrijp van deze business hoe beter ik begrijp dat dit de focus moet hebben.

Inclusief accepteren dat die alignment niet met 1x organisatie verandering en of nieuwe functie omschrijvingen gedaan is.

Integendeel. Die alignment blijft voor eeuwig een struggle. En dat is goed.
