Final Mobility of the VR&AR Project – Madeira Island, Portugal

Madeira Island hosted the final mobility of the Erasmus+ VR&AR (Virtual Reality & Augmented Reality) Project, bringing together project partners for a week dedicated to innovation, immersive technologies, and cultural exchange.

During their stay, participants had the opportunity to discover Madeira’s traditions and cultural heritage, while exploring initiatives related to education and technological innovation. The programme included visits to ARDITI, the Mercado dos Lavradores, our school’s Future Classroom and Immersive Room, the Library of the University of Madeira, and Livraria Esperança.

Participants also explored innovative immersive environments through visits to Madeira Immersive Experiences and IMOM – Immersive Museum of Madeira, where they experienced different applications of Virtual Reality and other immersive technologies.

The mobility concluded with a traditional Madeiran gastronomic dinner, offering participants an authentic taste of local cuisine and a memorable opportunity to celebrate the successful completion of the project.

This final mobility marked the conclusion of the VR&AR project, strengthening international cooperation among partners and highlighting the potential of immersive technologies to support innovation in education while promoting local culture and heritage.

Transnational Project Meeting of the VR&AR Project in Turkey

As part of the Erasmus+ VR&AR (Virtual Reality & Augmented Reality) Project, we participated in a transnational project meeting in Trabzon, Turkey, bringing together project partners to review the work completed and plan future activities.

During the meeting, teachers took part in training sessions focused on the use of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality in education, promoting the exchange of knowledge and best practices. The programme also included an institutional visit to the Trabzon Municipality, providing valuable insight into the local context and strengthening cooperation among the project partners.

This meeting contributed to the successful development of the project and supported the promotion of innovative teaching methodologies through VR&AR technologies.

Transnational Project Meeting of the VR&AR Project in Curaçao

As part of the Erasmus+ programme, we participated in a Transnational Project Meeting of the VR&AR (Virtual Reality & Augmented Reality) Project held in Curaçao. The main objective of this meeting was to review the project's progress, evaluate the results achieved, and plan the next activities to be implemented by the project partners.

During the meeting, the partners presented and discussed the various activities developed by each participating institution, as well as strategies to promote the integration of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) into teaching and learning processes. Best practices, educational resources, and experiences related to the use of these technologies in educational settings were also shared.

The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen cooperation among the partners, align objectives, define future work packages, and ensure the successful achievement of the project's goals. It also fostered the exchange of knowledge and experiences among education professionals from different countries.

This event contributed to reinforcing the international partnership and supporting the development of innovative solutions that promote digital transformation and the modernization of educational practices through VR&AR technologies.

Erasmus+ Mobility in Romania – Introducing Virtual Reality in the Classroom

As part of the Erasmus+ programme, we participated in a mobility project in Romania focused on educational innovation and the integration of Virtual Reality (VR) in the classroom. This experience allowed us to explore new teaching methodologies and discover the potential of immersive technologies as valuable learning tools.

Throughout the mobility, we had the opportunity to observe different applications of Virtual Reality in educational settings, with practical examples across various subject areas. These tools proved to be highly effective in increasing student engagement, enhancing learning experiences, and developing essential digital skills for the 21st century.

The mobility also provided valuable opportunities to collaborate and exchange experiences with teachers and education professionals from different countries, allowing us to share best practices and discuss the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation in education.

This experience was both professionally and personally enriching, strengthening our understanding of the importance of technological innovation in creating more dynamic, inclusive, and motivating learning environments.

Sob a condução de Marina Silva, os alunos e professores partilharam experiências, aprendizagens e resultados de vários projetos Erasmus+ que a escola tem vindo a desenvolver ao longo dos últimos anos.
