يسعدنا أن نشارككم بقبول فلسطين رسمياً كعضو في الأولمبياد الدولي لعلم الأحياء (IBO)، وستشارك بفريقها الرسمي الأول في العام المقبل.

وقد تحقق هذا الإنجاز من خلال مشاركتنا بصفة وفدٍ مراقب في أولمبياد الأحياء الدولي 2026، حيث أتيحت لنا الفرصة لتقديم فلسطين أمام 81 وفدًا من الدول الأعضاء، الذين صوّتوا لصالح قبول عضويتنا.

نأمل أن يشكّل هذا الإنجاز نقطة انطلاق نحو توفير فرص تعليمية أفضل للفلسطينيين أينما كانوا. فهو يمثل بداية فصل جديد تُرفع فيه راية فلسطين في أبرز المحافل العلمية الدولية. ومن خلال عملنا ساهمنا في تأمين مشاركة فلسطين، وبناء الفرق الوطنية، وتنظيم المسابقات، وتدريب الطلبة للمشاركة في الأولمبيادات الدولية في المعلوماتية، وعلم الفلك والفيزياء الفلكية، والرياضيات، والذكاء الاصطناعي، والفلسفة، والأمن السيبراني.

I'm delighted to share that Palestine has officially been accepted as a member of the International Biology Olympiad (IBO) and will participate with its first official team next year.

This milestone was made possible through our participation as an observer delegation at IBO 2026, where we had the opportunity to present Palestine before 81 member delegations, who voted in favor of our admission.

From this milestone, we hope to pave the way for greater educational opportunities for Palestinians everywhere. It marks the beginning of a new chapter - one in which Palestine is represented on the world's leading scientific stages. Through our work at meshka, we have helped secure participation, build national teams, organize competitions, and provide training across the International Olympiads in Informatics, Astronomy & Astrophysics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Philosophy, and Cybersecurity.

نعلن عن فتح باب التقديم لاختيار الفريق الوطني الفلسطيني للمشاركة في الأولمبياد الدولي لعلم الفلك والفيزياء الفلكية (IOAA 2026) في فيتنام.

إذا كنت شغوفاً بالفضاء، الفيزياء، والعلوم، فهذه فرصتك للانضمام إلى نخبة الطلبة المتميزين وتمثيل فلسطين عالمياً.

شروط التقديم:
* أن يكون المتقدم طالباً على مقاعد الدراسة (المرحلة الثانوية).
* ألا يتجاوز عمر المتقدم 20 عاماً في تاريخ المسابقة الدولية.

مراحل الاختيار:
* مسابقة وطنية أولية لاختيار الطلبة المتأهلين.
* برنامج تدريبي مكثف بإشراف نخبة من المختصين والأكاديميين لإعداد الفريق الوطني علمياً وعملياً بأعلى مستوى.
* اختيار الفريق النهائي للمشاركة الدولية.

The Representative of India-Designate met Ms. Layali Khatib—the first female astrophysicist from Jenin, Palestine—and Mr. Samed Alhajajla, team leader from Meshka Space, ahead of their journey to India for the prestigious 18th International Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad at the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, TIFR, Mumbai—an aided institute under the Department of Atomic Energy.

Excited to represent Palestine, they look forward to joining bright minds from over 70 countries, engaging in scientific exchange, and exploring future collaboration with India’s vibrant space technology sector.

This inspiring interaction reflects our shared commitment to building bridges between the youth of India and Palestine, deepening historic ties, and reaffirming India’s steadfast role in supporting capacity building and skill development for Palestinian youth.

التقت سفيرة الهند (المكلفة) بالسيدة ليالي الخطيب — أول عالمة فيزياء فلكية فلسطينية من جنين وبالسيد صامد الحجاجلة قائد فريق مشكاة، قبيل رحلتهما إلى الهند للمشاركة في الدورة الثامنة عشرة لأولمبياد علوم الفضاء والفيزياء الفلكية الدولي، التي تُعقد في مركز هومي بهابها العلمي في مومباي، وهي مؤسسة مدعومة من وزارة الطاقة الذرية الهندية.

وقد أعربا عن حماسهما لتمثيل فلسطين، وتطلعهما للانضمام إلى نخبة من العقول اللامعة من أكثر من 70 دولة، والمشاركة في التبادل العلمي، واستكشاف آفاق التعاون المستقبلي مع قطاع الفضاء الهندي المتطور.

وتعكس هذه اللقاءات الملهمة التزامنا المشترك ببناء جسور التواصل بين شباب الهند وفلسطين، وتعميق الروابط التاريخية، وتأكيد دور الهند الثابت في دعم بناء القدرات وتطوير المهارات لدى الشباب الفلسطيني.

For the first time in the history of Palestine’s participation, five Palestinian students have qualified for the pre-final stage of one of the most prestigious and challenging international competitions in astronomy and astrophysics!

Through just one year of intensive training under the Space for Palestine program — supported by meshka Foundation — these brilliant students have proven that passion for science.

Among the students , Omar Shatat scored 24.5 out of 25, and Othman Jabr received an Honour. At the same time, the rest of the team (Khaled Hamad, Lamar Qasarwa, and Balqees Azzam Abo Adibs) achieved very high scores.

Palestine Wins Two Honorable Mentions at the International Mathematical Olympiad in Australia.

The Palestinian team achieved a remarkable accomplishment in its participation at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO 2025), held this year in Sunshine Coast, Australia. Two students — Karam Al-Kurd from Gaza and Kareem Kaid from Nablus — were awarded honorable mentions in recognition of their outstanding performance in this prestigious global competition.

They were joined by fellow teammates Abdullah Al-Shurabini and Adham Salman, who secured valuable points that contributed to the overall ranking of the Palestinian team.

This year’s edition also marked a historic milestone: the first-ever participation of a Palestinian girl in the history of the IMO — Leen Nawahda, whom we proudly salute for her pioneering and honorable presence.

The Palestinian delegation was led by Dr. Mousa Alrefaya, Dean of the College of Dual Studies at Palestine Polytechnic University,
and Mr. Samed Alhajajla, Director and Founder of Meshka.

We also extend our deep appreciation to our strategic partners, .space, whose support was instrumental in enabling Palestine’s participation in this global scientific event.

حقق الفريق الفلسطيني إنجازًا مشرفًا في أولمبياد الرياضيات العالمي لعام 2025، والذي أُقيم مؤخرًا في أستراليا، بحصوله على جائزتين بميزات شرفية، في خطوة تعكس التقدم الملحوظ في قدرات الطلبة الفلسطينيين في مجال حل المشكلات الرياضية.
وقد نال كل من الطالب كرم الكرد من غزة، وكريم كايد من نابلس، جوائز ميزات شرف عن أدائهما المتميز في المسابقة، فيما قدّم كل من الطلبة عبدالله الشربيني، وأدهم سلمان أداءً قويًا أسهم في رفع رصيد الفريق الفلسطيني من النقاط.

وسجلت فلسطين هذا العام مشاركة تاريخية، بمشاركة أول فتاة فلسطينية في أولمبياد الرياضيات العالمي، وهي الطالبة لين نواهضة، التي نُحيي مشاركتها اللافتة ودورها الريادي في تمثيل الطالبات الفلسطينيات في المحافل العلمية الدولية.

قاد الفريق الفلسطيني هذا العام كل من الدكتور موسى الرفاعية وصامد الحجاجلة، ضمن جهود مشتركة وداعمة ساهمت في تحضير الطلبة للمنافسة العالمية. نحيي شريكنا الاستراتيجي فينيكس سبيس الذين لعبوا دورًا مهمًا في دعم الفريق وتمكين مشاركة الفريق.
