Our High School students had the opportunity to watch Soul Snatchers, a Christian film from Puerto Rico directed by Julio Román. The movie follows a missionary family that moves to a mysterious island hoping to bring light to an abandoned community. However, they soon discover that darkness has consumed the island and threatens to tear them apart, one by one.
As a contemporary adaptation of the parable of the Prodigal Son, this film explores themes of faith, family, the choices we make, and the reality of a spiritual battle beyond what we can see.
After the screening, our students had the opportunity to participate in a brief conversation with director Julio Román and learn more about the creative process behind the film.
We are especially proud that one of our former students, who also served as a teacher at PRCS, was part of this production, Mr. Alexis Albaladejo! 💙🎥
