The Educational Consultant at Tapzan Education will play a key role in shaping professional development for educators across Puerto Rico. This individual will design and implement innovative educational workshops, integrating technology and evidence-based strategies to enhance teaching practices. They will work closely with diverse school communities, adapting content to meet specific needs while promoting excellence in education.
🚨Responsibilities of the Educational Consultant
Design and Implement Professional Development Workshops
Develop and deliver high-quality training sessions for educators in Puerto Rico.
Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and emerging technologies to enhance learning outcomes.
Curriculum Development and Adaptation
Create and refine educational materials to align with modern pedagogical approaches.
Customize training content to fit the unique needs of different school communities.
Support Educators in Instructional Innovation
Guide teachers in integrating technology and innovative methodologies into their classrooms.
Provide hands-on support and coaching to ensure successful implementation of new teaching strategies.
Research and Stay Updated on Educational Trends
Stay informed on the latest developments in educational technology, curriculum design, and artificial intelligence in education.
Incorporate new findings into workshops and training materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
Engage with School Communities
Build strong relationships with educators, administrators, and stakeholders.
Foster collaboration between Tapzan Education and schools to ensure ongoing professional growth.
Monitor and Evaluate Program Impact
Assess the effectiveness of workshops through feedback, surveys, and classroom observations.
Continuously refine training programs based on data and educator needs.
Promote Educational Excellence and Continuous Learning
Advocate for best practices in education and support a culture of lifelong learning.
Represent Tapzan Education at conferences, and seminars when needed.
🚨Qualifications for the Educational Consultant RoleEducation & Experience:
Master’s or Doctorate in Education or related fields (e.g., Educational Technology, Curriculum and Instruction, Artificial Intelligence in Education, or Spanish).
Proven experience in designing and implementing educational workshops and professional development programs.
Strong background in evidence-based teaching strategies and curriculum development.
Experience working with diverse school communities and adapting content to different educational needs.
Skills & Competencies:
Deep understanding of innovative instructional methods and emerging educational technologies.
Ability to design and deliver engaging training sessions for educators.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teachers.
Problem-solving skills to address educational challenges and adapt strategies effectively.
Capacity to collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and other stakeholders.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AI applications in education or technology-enhanced learning.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
Familiarity with the Puerto Rican educational system.
