On August 27th, we held a successful Info Day in Kyiv, Ukraine, as part of our GYW project. This event was a significant moment, marking the culmination of our efforts in Ukraine. Participants explored innovative E-courses on green skills and sustainable employment tailored to Ukrainian youth. The event highlighted Ukraine's role in leading green initiatives across the region.

We are delighted to invite you to the World Cafe "Green Work 4 Youth" Final Info Day, taking place on August 27th at 10:00 AM in Kyiv, Ukraine. This event will mark the conclusion of our GYW project and will summarize its key achievements.

During the event, Kyiv Business School will present the following innovative project outcomes:
🌿E-course “Green Skills for Successful Employment and Work in the Process of Transition to a More ‘Green’ and Environmentally Sustainable Economy” for youth at risk of marginalization.
🌿Summer School “Green Skills of Youth at Risk of Marginalization for Successful Employment and Work in the Transition to a More ‘Green’ and Environmentally Sustainable Economy” for youth organizations and youth workers.
🌿WebQuest “Green Skills for Decent Work” designed to enhance green competencies among young people.
This final event will also foster dialogue and partnerships to ensure the lasting impact of the GYW project.

The event is being held as part of the implementation of the international project "GYW. Green Work4Youth: green skills for youth with fewer opportunities for reducing the risk of marginalization in the labour market in the transition to a sustainable economy" (project number 2022-1-PL01-KA220-YOU-000085715) with the support of the European Union (Erasmus+ grant program).

Three-day Summer School Webinar “Green skills of youth at risk of marginalisation for successful employment and work in the transition to a more ‘green’ and environmentally sustainable economy” for youth organisations and youth workers took place 03-05 July 2024. The Summer School was attended by participants from Ukraine, Latvia, Italy and Poland. During the three days of the meeting, training materials developed by a consortium of partners from the four countries mentioned above were presented to help young people navigate the new 'green' reality and find work in the transition to a more environmentally sustainable economy. 🌎 Літня школа "Зелені навички молоді з ризиком маргіналізації для успішного працевлаштування та роботи в період переходу до зеленої та сталої економіки”, 3-5 липня 2024 року, онлайн

🌻Програма Школи:
МОДУЛЬ І. Зелене майбутнє: сталий розвиток, перехід до сталої економіки, екологізація ринку праці.
МОДУЛЬ II. Зелені навички для молоді з ризиком маргіналізації: зелені навички, EU GreenComp, зелена зайнятість, підвищення кваліфікації та перекваліфікація для зеленого переходу, зміни на робочих місцях майбутнього.
МОДУЛЬ ІІІ. Екологізація молодіжної роботи: що ми можемо зробити разом для молоді в умовах переходу до більш "зеленої" та екологічно стійкої економіки?
🌻Мета Школи: 48 молодіжних працівників та представників молодіжних організацій з Польщі, Італії, Латвії та України підвищать свою кваліфікацію у сфері сталого розвитку та зеленої економіки.

Finally, let's summarize the youth project GYW - Green Work 4 Youth on the basis of Kyiv Business School / MBA in Ukraine: young people want to study, they are doing it successfully and they are not indifferent to the future of Ukraine and the planet Earth. Such young people inspire and give strength to develop and move forward together with them!

🌳365 registrations to participate in the project from all corners of Ukraine (re-registration was stopped early, because according to the plan we were supposed to have only 20 participants of the course and the quest!)
🌳202 young people started participating in the project
🌳117 people successfully completed the course on green skills
🌳 122 people successfully completed the web quest

🌿On April 19th, 155 young individuals participated in a webinar focused on green skills for youth in the future job market, organized by the GYW - Green Work 4 Youth project in Ukraine!

Surprisingly, although we initially planned for 20 attendees, the turnout exceeded expectations. However, we chose not to limit the thirst for knowledge among our youth and selected 200 individuals out of 365 registered to participate.

🌿What took place? Ukrainian team presented the project itself and its educational products: an E-course “Green Skills for successful employment and work in the process of the transition to a more ‘green’ and environmentally sustainable economy” and WebQuest "Green Skill for decent work". We delivered an engaging and interactive lecture on the European competency structure in sustainable development and GreenComp.
