Do you remember the pies from our last workshops in the village? 🥧🍰🧁One of them looked like a vegetable cake. 😄 The secret vegetable inside was rhubarb, which is available to buy everywhere at this season.

VI Diversity Day - Courage and Balance Karta Różnorodności

"Diversity - why do we like it in the supermarkets but not on the streets?"

18.05.2019 we visited Wólka Leśna. This village has hosted us the second time and for the second time it was amazing! :) Our participants came from countries such as Italy, Brasil, Japan and India.

On their arrival they were warmly greeted 🤝by the mayor of the village and the local community with welcome speech and delicious food made from the finest local products. 🥚🧀🍞During the meeting they played bingo game to get to know each other and mix with the locals. In further perspective, they shared their cultural heritage by cooking their national dishes - Italian carbonara 🍝 in both traditional and vegetarian version, Indian and some other delicious Asian food. 😋😋😋

All the participants admired hospitality, warmth and authenticity of the Polish villagers. At the end of the day they also had an opportunity to see a mushroom farm and taste homemade liqueurs. 🥂

It was very nice and unforgettable experience for all of us! 🙌
