It is 1915, and you are in the trenches of World War I. "This is quite bad," you think to yourself, "I wonder how anyone will write best-selling fiction about this."
It is 1940, and you are in the trenches of World War II. "Strange," you think to yourself, "I could've sworn we already had a war like that. Or maybe that was just in the books I read."
It is September 11th, 2001, and you are watching the news. "Wow," you think to yourself, "I will remember this exact moment and create a narrative of it for when my friends ask me where I was on 9/11."

‼️BIG ANNOUNCEMENT‼️
After long deliberation, the board of directors of Beyond Theory Inc. has decided the club cannot go on in its current form. During the recently held semi-regular shareholders meeting, an important point was raised: people simply do not care for theory, and they certainly do not care for going beyond it. New market research suggests an increasing preference for practice, and for staying in your lane - the opposite, in fact, of the word "beyond".
As you know, Beyond Theory Inc. is always willing to tackle new challenges and keep afloat in a changing world. Therefore, we are officially changing the focus of our club. We will now be offering purely practical discussions and workshops, aimed to help you gain down-to-earth skills and maintain the status quo. Critical thinking is still encouraged, to keep the spirit of the club alive, but we will now be thinking less about philosophy and literary theory, and more about, for example, the best angle at which to hammer a nail into a board. We hope you understand the need for this change and will stick with us as we enter this new and exciting chapter.
In order to take on these new challenges, our Student Club has made the tough decision to part with the name and trademark you know and love. We will no longer be known as Beyond Theory: Critical Theory Club. Instead, we will be opting for the more apt name of Within Practice: Club. We know this will be difficult to get used to at first, but we are excited to see what the future holds for us under this new moniker. We also present in this post our new and improved logo, on which our best graphic designers have been hard at work and of which they are very proud. We feel it encapsulates our progress and change, while retaining the instantly recognizable elements of our classic brand identity. All logos and names of social media accounts will be accordingly adjusted over the next few days.
We hope you will all join us on the 10th of April, at 6:30 pm, in room 3.415 at Dobra 55, as we open this new chapter by discussing the importance of medication and the benefits of visiting pharmacies.

Thank you to everyone who came to see us at Targi Kół Naukowych on Thursday! Huge thanks again to Bookin' It for allowing us to share their space!
We're posting our favorite creations from the creative part of the exhibit, because your colorful interpretations of our favorite thinkers and concepts are a very apt way to capture what we do - they go beyond theory (including color theory).
Our next meeting will be on te 10th of April, 6:30 pm in room 3.415 at Dobra 55, and we will continue discussing Derrida's text. We hope to see you again there!

Join us this Friday as we set sails upon the seas of human psyche! Don't forget to bring diving equipment, as we're going for a swim deep below the surface level.
This week, we're going to discuss Sigmund Freud's "The Interpretation of Dreams" - a work considered by many to be the first major entry in psychoanalysis. What is the relationship between dreams and the unconscious? How do hidden desires manifest themselves through dream-work? What did Freud ascertain from his patients by his method?
It will serve as our breaking point for psychoanalytic thought and the first meeting on Sigmund Freud out of many.
