🇩🇪 It is time to say goodbye!

Finally, students won the World Peace Game! By mastering the arts of argumentation and compromise, and by rising above their own particular interests, the students achieved something truly remarkable.
We would like to extend our thanks to Ellen Zeiss for her incredible 5 days of hard work and dedication. We also want to express our deep gratitude to the Montessori -Zentrum Hofheim for their wonderful hospitality.
Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

🇩🇪 Another day, another battle for the future. We’ve managed to defuse a few global crises, but new dangers are always creeping up.

The biggest obstacle? Getting people to look past their own particular interests and finally start thinking globally. We either win together, or we lose together.

Meanwhile, life goes on, and balance is key. The WMHS students are splitting their time between hard work, entertainment, and well-deserved rest in the school’s beautiful green surroundings.

🇩🇪 After a fantastic evening spent with their Host Families, our students, well-rested and happy are back in the game.
Yesterday was all about high-level diplomacy as they stepped into the shoes of Prime Ministers, Ministers of Finance, and World Bank officials, etc.
Today it’s time for crisis management. Our students must face major global threats, e.g. global warming, a drone attack, a toxic chemical spill, water shortages.
Will they manage to save the world from disaster? Keep your fingers crossed for our young leaders!

More than just an art show, it’s a universal story about vulnerability, shame, and finding one's path in today’s chaotic world. It’s an exhibition where both teenagers and adults can easily find pieces of their own stories.

Today, our students had the privilege of meeting with Ł𝘂𝗸𝗮𝘀𝘇 𝗞𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 as part of the Shaping The Minds of The Future with Warsaw Montessori High School lecture series. During his talk, "𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲." students gained valuable insights into how the European Union operates, how its decisions influence citizens' daily lives, and what working within European institutions looks like. The meeting was an inspiring opportunity to learn from an experienced expert in European affairs, communication, and public policy.

On Tuesday, May 26, our students had an inspiring meeting with a representative of 𝗗𝘇𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗻𝗶𝗮, a City of Warsaw initiative promoting free exchange and reuse of clothing and household items. The project encourages sustainable habits and community engagement by creating spaces where people can donate items they no longer need and take what is useful to them free of charge. Several of our students were so inspired by the initiative that they have already expressed interest in volunteering and supporting its activities. We believe this is a valuable project, and our school would be delighted to support and promote it within our community.

The project Shaping The Minds of The Future with Warsaw Montessori High School is a series of workshops and meetings during which distinguished figures from the worlds of business, culture, media, and politics share their professional experiences, career paths, and the projects they are involved in.

The lectures aim to inspire young people to consciously shape their future, develop key competencies, and better understand the contemporary world.

The upcoming lecture, titled “𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲” will be delivered by Ł𝘂𝗸𝗮𝘀𝘇 𝗞𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮, Press Officer at the Liaison Office of the European Parliament in Poland. Currently, he is responsible for media relations, countering disinformation, and communicating the work of the European Parliament.

During the meeting, students will have the opportunity to learn how the European Union functions, how decisions made in Brussels influence citizens’ everyday lives, and what it is like to work “behind the scenes” of European institutions.
